NB GOOD OLE SUMMERTIME FESTIVAL-JULY 25TH
The Good Ole Summertime (GOST) Festival has been a North Baltimore, Ohio tradition for over 30 years. This annual festival is always held on the last Saturday of July in downtown North Baltimore
The day begins with a 2 – person scramble golf tournament at Birch Run Golf Club, which benefits the NB Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and a 5K Run/Walk benefiting the North Baltimore Track Program. There will also be Charity Car Show, with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of NW Ohio. The first 75 persons registered will receive a 2nd edition license plate dash plaque.
2015 gazebo entertainment (the corner of Broadway & Main) includes One-A-Chord, an “A Cappella doo-wop band” from Barnesville, OH. (performing hits from the 50’s-60’s) This quartet has opened for Little Big Town, The VanDells, and other groups, sang at Pittsburgh Pirates games and performed at many County festivals in Ohio and West Virginia. Evening entertainment will be The Chardon Polka Band, “a polka band with a rock-n-roll attitude”, from Chardon, OH. The band performs all over the country on the polka circuit and at Octoberfests. They have their own reality sit-com show on the REELZ channel and have also been featured on Trip Flip (HGTV) and Off-Beat America (Travel Channel) The NBHS Marching Band will also perform at the gazebo mid morning. There is also a corn hole tournament, sponsored by the NB Rotary Club, with cash payouts to the winning teams. Also check out the craft/retail/flea market, military vehicle display, beer tent, bingo, rides, kids events, a kids craft zone, a variety of food, and more.
The day ends at the North Baltimore Village Park with the “BEST SMALL TOWN FIREWORKS SHOW IN THE AREA”, sponsored in part by Reineke Family Dealerships. You won’t want to miss this spectacular show! (The NB Village Park is a short walk from Downtown NB)
A 50-50 raffle is also being held. Tickets are on sale NOW at Sisters Junction, Cyber Solutions, NB Village Offices, and the NBACC office, all located in North Baltimore. Early bird drawings will be held July 15th and 22nd and two times the day of the festival, paying out $25 each and the winning ticket goes back in the pot for the main drawing. Tickets will also be available the day of the festival.
