NB Recycling Closed for GOST

Glass No Longer Accepted at Wood County Recycling Locations

The Wood County Solid Waste Management District received notification from the Bowling Green Recycling Center that, effective immediately, glass will no longer be accepted at their facility.

Because they are also the contracted service provider for the Wood County Satellite Locations, this change impacts this program as well.

Effective immediately, glass will no longer be collected at the monthly locations. (The North Baltimore Recycling location at the DPW Building, is part of the WCSWMD – but is operated by is operated by the NB Masonic Lodge, with assistance from various other groups.)

From Skip Baltz, N. B. Area Recycling Coordinator: Please DO NOT bring glass of any kind. Any one who does will be told to take it back home and dispose of it. We are sorry for this inconvenience but it is beyond our control. A big thank you to all who participate in our recycling efforts and also to the dedicated workers who show up on Saturday mornings to help.

For a complete list of locations, please visit our website at http://www.recyclewoodcounty.org/recycling/satellite-locations/.
