The Lady Tigers fell at home on Wednesday, to Van Buren, 11-3, in BVC action.
Van Buren scored early and often racing out to a 6 – 0 lead after two innings, scoring their 11 runs on 15 hits. K. Fultz was the winning pitcher for the Black Knights.
NB had 3 runs on 6 hits and 3 errors. Cheyenne Hernandez (3 – 5) took the loss on the mound. Paige Hyatt led the Tigers from the plate with a single and a double.
NB is now 4 – 10 overall and 3 – 3 in Blanchard Valley Conference play.
