A cool August morning proved to be a great day for the North Baltimore Cross Country runners as each individual ran a personal record for the 2019 season.
The day started with a tremendous run from both the senior captains Lydia Hartman and Sydnee Smith. Lydia Hartman finished 38th out of 221 runner with a time of 22:50 and Sydnee Smith finished 41st with a time of 23:05.
Freshman, Alivia Delancy started her high school career with a bang finishing 73rd with a time of 24:33. Lucy Trout finished 4th for the team with a personal record of 30:06. The Varsity girls did not have a full team for this race.
The Varsity boys continue the great running as senior co-captain Levi Trout was a medalist finishing 30th out of 277 runners with a time of 18:25.
Fellow captain, Wyatt Mowery backed up Levi with a time of 20:13.
Senior, Zeth Johnson got back into his groove, running a 21:27 with teammate Gabe Gazarek right behind him with a 21:30. Jordan Kimmel rounded out the top five with a 23:26.
Darrian Zitzelberger, Alex Trout, and Jordan Coup all ran personal records with times of 24:50, 24:56, and 26:03 respectively.
Skyler Livingston, NB’s lone JH runner for 2019 season, finished with a career best of 15:35, finishing 86th overall.
