1) Income tax collections 2016 vs. 2015 as of 9/30/2016:

2) The Bill List from 9/3/2016 – 9/30/2016 is included for council review and approval on the claims ordinance.

3) September Great Lakes collections and the September Fund Report will be distributed at next week’s COTW

4) Collections to Note:

a. NB Board of Education – SRO Fees: $6,961.75

5) I have placed the first draft of the 2017 budget in each of your boxes. This is the first draft, and as we continue budget discussions throughout October, it is subject to change. Please take your time to review this information (I know it’s a lot). I will formally present this information at next week’s COTW. The 2017 budget will receive its first reading on 11/1/16

a. 2017 Budget General Info:

i. Raises:
1. All Dispatch employees: $9.75/hr
2. All Fulltime employees: 1% Increase
ii. EMS Salaries:
1. EMS Salaries are currently budgeted at 2/Day, 1/Night
(subject to change)

6) Submitted updated Medical Insurance Info, along with updated property/liability insurance info to respective parties. Currently waiting on quotes. *Note* our current healthcare provider has provided a renewal increase of 13.17%. We are shopping around in search of a better rate.

7) Upcoming ordinances:
a. 2016 Fund Transfers
b. 2016 Expense Appropriation Clean Up
c. 2016 Revenue Appropriation Clean Up
d. 2017 Wage Resolution
e. 2017 Annual Appropriation Ordinance (2017 Budget)

THIRD READINGS

f. Appropriation Ordinance: Adding $444.52 to the EMS budget. The EMS was awarded a Dept. of Public Safety Grant. This was a reimbursement for supplies that were purchased. This ordinance is in the same amount as the grant.

g. Appropriation Ordinance: Adding $1,485.75 to the EMS budget. The EMS Dept. received a donation from Keystone Foods here in North Baltimore. This donation will be used to purchase various office supplies for the department. This ordinance is in the same amount as the donation.
