NB Wrestler David Patterson wins BVC Title at 113 pounds

North Baltimore High School Freshman David Patterson won the Blanchard Valley Conference Wrestling Championship at 113 pounds.

The tournament was held at Van Buren High School. This is the first wrestling championship held in the BVC in over 30 years!

Tristan Fagan, a sophomore, wrestling at 182 pounds, finished in 3rd Place.

Overall NB was 7th in the seven team field. Here are the standings:

1st Hopewell-Loudon 207½

2nd Van Buren 166

3rd Riverdale 129

4th Arcadia 117

5th McComb 63

6th Cory-Rawson 30

7th North Baltimore 29

The OHSAA Sectional Wrestling Tournament will be Feb. 27 and 28 at Carey High School.

Levi Trout (7th grade) picked up 3rd Place in the Junior High  Blanchard Valley Conference Wrestling Tournament at 134 lbs.

Simon Sexton (7th grade) picked up 3rd Place in the Junior High  Blanchard Valley Conference Wrestling Tournament at 172 lbs.
