I’m writing to express gratitude to those who helped make the recent mock crash at North Baltimore High School great! (left: Officer Mandy Slane)
On April 27th & 28th 2017, North Baltimore High School hosted a mock crash in coordination with North Baltimore Police, EMS, and Fire. This stupendous event could not have been made a reality without the hard work and dedication of NBPD’s own, Mandy Slane. She coordinated an amazing two-day event between seven different organizations to raise awareness about impaired driving and to inform students, before prom season starts, about the dangers of driving recklessly.
Thanks to Dr. Bob Falkenstein, principal of North Baltimore Junior and Senior Schools. Dr. Falkenstein shows true concern and caring for your students, and made sure that Mandy had plenty of time to accomplish the mission of the mock crash.
A special thank you to Mandy Slane for putting so much time and effort into the event so it ran smoothly, she is a tremendous asset to her team and community! Join me in thanking Mandy on a job well done!
