Paws for a Cause, NBHS’s new community service group, held its first annual Zumba Marathon on Saturday, March 28th in the auditeria. Over 100 people were in attendance, and they helped to raise over $700 for the Cocoon Shelter in BG.
It was a great time for all involved, as young and old learned how to Zumba from Z Pulse and completed Zumba toning by Kathy Kapostasy.
The students did a great job putting together the event, and they also compiled a video to help educate the community on domestic violence facts, as well as to tell them why they think it’s on us to stop domestic violence. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this worthy cause! We couldn’t have done it without you!
