Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist
Program Information
Interested in the Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) program? This hands-on natural resource education program is coupled with community-based volunteer service. Class topics include interpretation, ecology, birds, native plants, mammals, insects, geology, and more. The $200 fee covers materials, speakers, facilities, and a criminal records check. Co-sponsored by WCPD and Ohio State University Extension of Wood County, the OCVN program begins in April. Want to learn more before submitting your application?
