Norma Jean Kaufman, 69, of North Baltimore, died at 8:03 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2016, at the Heartland of Waterville, Waterville, OH.
She was born on May 30, 1946, in Findlay to the late Ralph and Maxine (Lauwers) Bretz. She married Doug Kaufman and he preceded her in death.
Norma is survived by her son, Darrin Simon of North Baltimore; her brother, Al (Joyce) Bretz of North Baltimore; her sisters: Carolyn S. Self of North Baltimore, Maxine Diane Brooks of North Baltimore, Marsha Serverns of Mendon, OH and Cynthia K. Bretz of North Baltimore; her 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, W. Duane Simon.
Norma was a homemaker and member of Sugar Ridge Church of God, Bowling Green.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Jon Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
