On Saturday January 10, 2015 the North Baltimore Gleaner Arbor hosted a “4th of July in January” bingo activity at Briar Hill’s Assisted Living facility.
Prior to the residents arriving, the dining hall was decorated for the 4th of July.
As the residents arrived Gleaner members placed red, white and blue beaded necklaces around their neck. The residents thought it was a nice touch.
Teddy bears with patriotic bows around their necks were the most popular bingo prizes. Some of the residents expressed their desire to share them with a family member.
Following bingo Gleaner members served homemade cookies to the residents before meeting at McDonalds for a business meeting.
Congratulations to the Virginia Theatre on their fundraising success. It is great to see the theatre open again.
