On November 1, 2015 the North Baltimore Gleaner Arbor hosted a hayride and potluck, complete with a fire in a Riverbend Recreation Area shelter. The weather was perfect and some of the trees were still displaying their beautiful colors.

Following the meal, Elaine Swope presented the CSRA (Community Service Recognition Award) to Courtney VanHorn for her work with the North Baltimore Arbor, Maranatha Bible Church, work with Gliding Stars and her service/leadership in a number of activities while at Van Buren High School. We look forward to the impact Courtney will continue to have on her community.

During a short business meeting those who attended the Gleaner Convention in Shamburg Illinois, on October 23-25, shared their experience with the group.

We also talked about the request received by the Salvation Army in North Baltimore for Thanksgiving baskets and the donation that will be given to Project H.O.P.E.
