Lions clubs have been participating in the GOOD program for over 19 years and have distributed over 45,000 shirts and certificates to students world wide.
Locally, the North Baltimore Lions Club has presented this award for 4 years. Students must meet certain criteria in the fourth grade to win this prestigious award. The criteria are Good attendance, Good listening skills, Good work habits, and Good citizenship. Their teachers determine which child meets the criteria and have demonstrated determination and perseverance throughout the year with their studies.
