Northwest Ohio Weekend Event & Traffic Update
Lucas County will host three major events this weekend, and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be working hard to help you get where you need to go as quickly and safely as possible.
Motorists can get to their weekend plans on-time by using ODOT’s new mobile app – OHGO – for personal traffic alerts, information on road construction and travel delays, and hands-free voice on the go. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Advice from ODOT to drivers: download the app before you depart then check your route for possible incidents and traffic conditions. Below is a list of road work that may impact event-goers.
Northbound I-75, between I-475 and Phillips Avenue in Toledo, will be reduced to one lane for bridge work beginning Friday, July 15 at 9pm, through Saturday, July 16 at noon.
LPGA – 2016 Marathon Classic
While Interstate 475 and the ramps to and from Central Avenue remain open, lane restrictions are in place on Central Avenue from McCord Road to Holland Sylvania Road. Minor delays expected in this area. Drivers will most likely use US 23 to Monroe Street (Exit 234).
