BOWLING GREEN, Ohio, – The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (the District) delivers water and sewer services to over 19,000 customers in Wood, Sandusky and Hancock counties. Although many of our construction and maintenance projects are performed underground, our utility work can impact roads throughout our area. The District will announce updates and when additional projects are under contract. Updates and additions are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Bloomdale – Water Line Maintenance, WaterShed, Bulk Water Station *UPDATE*
Through September, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Cherry Street in Bloomdale for water line maintenance. The closure of the Bloomdale WaterShed for construction of new WaterShed combined with a bulk water station will be announced. Project complete: October.
Bairdstown – Sanitary Sewer Work *UPDATE*
Through September, daytime, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 18 between Bushey Road and Leathers Road for sewer installation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Through September, daytime intermittent lane restrictions and short-term closures are also possible on local streets in Bairdstown for pavement and restoration work. Project complete: September.
Millbury – Sanitary Sewer Improvements *UPDATE*
Through June 2018, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout the Village of Millbury for sewer work and manhole repairs. Project complete: June 2018.
Northwood – Equalization Basin *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Work is now complete on the EQ basin site in Northwood.
Northwood – Curtice Road Waterline Replacement
Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Curtice Road between Bradner Road and Reva Drive for water line replacement. Traffic will be maintained by automated signal and flaggers. Project complete: March 2018.
Perrysburg Township – Starbright Subdivision Water Line Project *UPDATE*
Through November, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Oregon and Ayers Roads, adjacent to the Starbright subdivision for water line replacement. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Effective Tuesday, September 5, through November, lane restrictions and closures are possible within the Starbright subdivision. Local access will be maintained. Project complete: November.
Washington Township, State Route 65 Pump Station Upgrade *UPDATE*
Through September, daytime lane restrictions are possible on SR 65 near SR 235 for pump station upgrade. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: September.
Walbridge – Walbridge Water Line Abandonment
Through August, short-term intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout the Village of Walbridge for water line abandonment. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: August.
