Defiance County
Ohio 66 north from Defiance to the Williams County line will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for sealing of pavement cracks. Work is being performed by the Defiance County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 2/18/49 in the village of Hicksville which was previously slated for repairs and resurfacing will be postponed for several weeks. When the work restarts it will take place on Ohio 2 from its junction with Ohio 49 at the south edge of town to the south just outside of the village limits. On Ohio 49 work will occur from inside the village to the Williams County line, and on Ohio 18 from within the village to just outside the village limits. Work is being performed by Brooks Construction, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Hancock County
U.S. 30 eastbound between Ohio 235 and the Wyandot County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning June 15 for tarring and chipping of the roadway. Work is being performed by combined ODOT District 1 work crews.
Ohio 12 from Arcadia to the Seneca County line, Ohio 18 from Fostoria west to the Seneca County line, and Ohio 613 from Ohio 235 at McComb to Interstate 75 will be restricted through the work zone for pavement repair and resurfacing which began June 1. Work is currently taking place only on the Ohio 613 portion of the project. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.
Ohio 15 northbound east of the U.S. 68 junction is one lane through the work zone for a roadside slide repair project which is expected to continue through July. Work is being performed by Sand Ridge Excavating, Cloverdale.
Interstate 75 in Wood and Hancock counties: Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through November, from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County. Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
Special events . . .
- Effective Monday, April 27, through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, will be closed for bridge work on I-75.
Hardin County
Ohio 701 between U.S. 68 and Township Road 105 will be closed for 17 days beginning July 6 for three culvert replacements. Traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 309 and U.S. 68. Work is being done by the Hardin County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 37 in the village of Forest which was closed for a railroad crossing repair has reopened.
Ohio 309 east of the city of Kenton between Township Road 225 and County Road 195 will close beginning June 15 for approximately three weeks for culvert replacements at three locations. Traffic detoured onto U.S. 68, Ohio 67 and Ohio 37 back to Ohio 309. Work is being performed by the Hardin County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 67 north of the village of Roundhead just east of Ohio 235 will close June 15 for approximately three months for a bridge repair project over the Scioto River. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 235, Ohio 309 and U.S. 68 back to Ohio 67. Work is being performed by Eagle Bridge Co., Sidney.
Ohio 81 at the west end of Ada will be closed beginning June 22 for three days for a sanitary sewer installation. Traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 75, Ohio 309 and Ohio 235 back to Ohio 81. Work will be done by All Purpose Contracting, Inc., Delphos.
Paulding County
Ohio 49 from the Van Wert County line to the Defiance County line will experience lane closures throughout the week for berm work being done. Work is being done by the Paulding County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 613 from Ohio 500 to U.S. 127 east of Payne will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair and resurfacing. The project will continue until late June. Work is being performed by Gerken Paving, Bluffton:
- The portion of the project on Ohio 613 from the state line to the village of Payne is largely complete with berm work and pavement markings remaining to be completed.
- Work to install curb ramps on Ohio 49 within the village of Payne will be taking place and will have little effect on traffic.
- Ohio 613 from Ohio 500 to U.S. 127 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for paving.
U.S. 127 between Garfield Avenue and Jackson Street in the village of Paulding closed April 13 for approximately eight months for a sewer separation project. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 613, Ohio 637 and Ohio 111 back to U.S. 127. Work is being performed by VTF Excavation, Celina.
Putnam County
Ohio 189 at the east edge of Ottoville closed May 27 for an emergency culvert repair. Traffic is being detoured onto Ohio 190, Ohio 634 and U.S. 224 back to Ohio 189.
Van Wert County
Ohio 697 at the west edge of Delphos will be reduced to one lane through the work zone throughout the week for pavement repairs. Work is being done by the Van Wert County ODOT maintenance garage.
U.S. 30 between Van Wert and Middle Point will be reduced to one lane through the work zone throughout the week for pavement repairs. Work is being done by the Van Wert County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 697 west of Middle Point Wetzel Road, approximately five miles west of the city of Delphos, closed June 8 for approximately 45 days to replace the bridge over the Auglaize River. Traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 116 to Ohio 81 to Ohio 66 back onto Ohio 697. Work is being done by Brumbaugh Construction, Inc., Arcanum.
U.S. 127 in the city of Van Wert just north of Main Street closed June 9 for four days for a railroad crossing repair. Traffic detoured onto U.S. 30, U.S. 224, Van Wert-Decatur Road, Ohio 118 and Fox Road back to U.S. 127. Work is being performed by Genesee and Wyoming Railroad, Darien, Conn.
Ohio 66 north of the village of Delphos, between U.S. 30 and Township Highway 150, will be closed beginning June 15 for three days during daytime hours only for pavement repair. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 224, Ohio 634 and Ohio 190 back to Ohio 66. Work is being performed by the Van Wert County ODOT maintenance garage.
Wyandot County
U.S. 23/30 northbound and southbound at Upper Sandusky is currently reduced to one lane through the work zone for bridge and pavement repair and resurfacing. On U.S. 23 the zone extends from south of Ohio 182 to just south of County Road 47, and on U.S. 30 from the U.S. 23 split to Township Highway 103. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction, Columbus.
U.S. 23 southbound exit ramp to westbound U.S. 30 will be closed beginning June 16 for 21 days for pavement resurfacing and bridge deck repair. Traffic detoured onto U.S. 23 southbound to Ohio 199 to U.S. 23 northbound back to U.S. 30 westbound. Work is being performed by Kokosking Construction, Columbus.
