Lucas/Wood Counties
1. Interstate 75: Widening
Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14):
Interstate Restrictions:
Effective Friday, August 28 at 8pm, through Saturday, August 29 at 10am, lane restrictions are possible on northbound I-75, from Roachton Road to US 20, for traffic pattern change. Motorists are advised of changing traffic patterns in this work zone.
Additionally, on Friday, August 28 at 8pm, through Saturday, August 29 at 6am, the ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 will be closed for pavement widening. Detour: northbound I-75; SR 795 (Exit 195); southbound I-75; westbound I-475.
*REMINDER* Following the above traffic pattern change, motorists will access the ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 in the left lane.
Effective Friday, August 28 at 8pm, through Saturday, August 29 at 6am, lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-75, from US 6 to Cygnet Rd, for traffic pattern change. Motorists are advised of changing traffic patterns in this work zone.
Effective Thursday, September 3 at 8pm, through Friday, September 4 at 6am, lane restrictions are possible on northbound I-75, from Cygnet Rd to US 6, for traffic pattern change. Motorists are advised of changing traffic patterns in this work zone.
Through November, overnight, from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.
Through December, one lane of northbound I-75 traffic, from Roachton Road to US 20, is maintained in the northbound lane and one lane of northbound I-75 traffic, from Roachton Road to US 20, is maintained on southbound I-75. Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.
Ramp Restrictions:
· Through September, the ramp from northbound I-75 to SR 582 is closed for pavement widening. Detour: SR 795; I-75 southbound.
· Through September, the ramp from SR 582 to northbound I-75 is closed for pavement widening. Detour: I-75 southbound; SR 64/SR 105.
· Through July 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on the ramps from northbound and southbound I-75 to Cygnet Road (Exit 171) and from Cygnet Road to northbound and southbound I-75.
· Through December, the ramp from southbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane. The ramp from eastbound I-475 to northbound I-75 is permanently reduced to one lane.
Local Routes:
Through November, Jerry City Road at I-75 is closed for bridge work. Detour: SR 25; SR 281; Solether Road.
Through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, is closed for bridge work over I-75. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
2. Interstate 75: Widening
Lucas County (485-14, 536-14): Through July 2018, overnight, 7pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from I-475 in Toledo to I-280 for bridge work. Through fall 2016, one lane of I-75 traffic is maintained in the current northbound lane and one lane of traffic is relocated to southbound I-75 and separated by barrier wall.
The following ramps are closed:
· Through November 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue (Exit 206). Detour: south Expressway Drive (Exit 207); Stickney Avenue; North Expressway Drive.
· Through June 2016, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue (Exit 206). Detour: North Expressway Drive (Exit 207); Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.
· Through June 2016, the ramp from Phillips Avenue to northbound I-75. Detour: Manhattan Boulevard; Lagrange Street; South Expressway Drive.
· Through July 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Jeep Parkway (Exit 205A). Detour: Berdan Avenue (Exit 205B); Detroit Avenue.
· Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep Parkway to southbound I-75. Detour: Berdan Avenue.
· Through July 2018, the ramp from Willys Parkway to northbound I-75. Detour: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue.
· Through July 2018, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Willys Parkway (Exit 205A). Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B).
Local Streets:
Through Saturday, August 29, overnight from 9pm to 6am, Langrage Street at I-75 may be closed for bridge work. Northbound detour: South Expressway Drive; Stickney Avenue; North Expressway Drive. Southbound detour: Sylvania Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue; Manhattan Boulevard.
Through November 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Berdan Avenue is restricted to right turn only movements. Suggested alternate route: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue; Haverhill Drive.
Through May 2017, the Polish Village Overpass is closed for bridge work. Detour: North Expressway Drive; Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.
Through November, expect lane restrictions on Phillips Avenue at I-75, Lagrange Street at I-75, Berdan Avenue at I-75, Detroit Avenue at I-75, and Stickney Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.
Through October, South Expressway Drive is restricted to a single lane between Stickney Avenue and Lagrange Street.
Through June 2016, Jeep Parkway from Central Avenue to Berdan Avenue is closed. Central Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Berdan Avenue.
Through July 2018, Willys Parkway from Pioneer Lane to Jeep Parkway is closed.
Project complete: September 2018. All work is weather permitting.
3. Interstate 75: Pavement Rehabilitation *UPDATE*
Lucas County (268-14): Through August, I-75, from the I-75/475 split in Toledo to the Anthony Wayne Trail, is reduced to two lanes. Overnight, 10pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible in this work zone.
Ramp closures:
• Through Friday, August 28 at 6am, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Detroit Avenue will be closed for pavement installation. Detour: Washington Street (Exit 202A); 11th Street; Monroe Street.
• Through September, the ramp from Lawrence Avenue to southbound I-75 will be closed for pavement installation. Detour: Monroe Street; Michigan Street.
• Through October, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Collingwood Boulevard will be closed for pavement installation. Detour: Washington Street (Exit 202A); Dorr Street.
• Through September, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Bancroft Street is closed. Detour: Berdan Ave (Exit 205B); Detroit Avenue.
• Through September, the ramp from Collingwood Boulevard to northbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Dorr Street; Washington Street; 14th Street.
Through August 2016, the following ramps are restricted or closed:
· The interchange ramp from eastbound I-475 to southbound I-75 is reduced to one lane.
· The interchange ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane.
· The ramp from Detroit Avenue to southbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Monroe Street; Michigan Avenue; SR 25.
· The ramp from Detroit Avenue to northbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Monroe Street; 14th Street.
Through May 2016, Oakwood Avenue, between Wells Street and Grove Place, is closed for bridge work. Seek alternate route. Project complete: August 2016. All work is weather permitting.
4. Interstate 75: Bridge Repair Project *UPDATE*
Lucas County (375-15): Effective Friday, August 28 at 7pm, through Monday, August 31 at 7am, lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between the Anthony Wayne Trail and South Avenue, for bridge repair and paving. Effective Friday, August 28 at 7pm through Saturday, August 29 at 6am, the ramp from Erie Street to southbound I-75 will be closed for bridge repair. Detour: Anthony Wayne Trail; Western Avenue; Broadway Street/Summit Street; Washington Street; Michigan Street. Through September, weeknights 7pm until 7am, lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between the Anthony Wayne Trail and South Avenue. Additionally, during work hours, short-term intermittent ramp restrictions and closures are possible in this work zone. Additional ramp closures will be announced. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
5. Interstate 75: Rest Area Closure *CLOSURE BEGINS TOMORROW*
Wood County (170-14): Effective Friday, August 28 at 8pm, through July 2016, the southbound I-75 rest area will be closed as part of the I-75 widening project. Effective Thursday, September 3 at 8pm, through July 2016, the northbound I-75 rest area will be closed as part of the I-75 widening project. Project complete: July 2016. All work is weather permitting.
6. Interstate 475: ProMedica Parkway Ramp
Lucas County: Through 2016, the ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 is closed for traffic control. Detour: westbound I-475; Douglas Road. All work is weather permitting.
7. Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23: Interchange Upgrade
Lucas County (184-14 & 210-15): Through December, the ramp from southbound US 23 to Central Avenue is closed. Detour: southbound I-475/US23; Airport Highway (Exit 8A). Additionally at this time, southbound US 23 traffic is reduced to one lane from the I-475/US 23 split in Sylvania to Central Avenue. The ramp from westbound I-475 to Central Avenue (Exit 13) is open.
Overnight lane restrictions are possible at the interchange of I-475/US 23 from Central Avenue to N. Holland Sylvania Road. Effective today through Friday, September 4, daily from 7am to 5pm, Blossman Road, between Moffat Road and Plainview Drive, will be closed for bridge demolition. Detour: Plainview Drive; Central Avenue; Fairbanks Avenue. Through October, lane restrictions are possible on Blossman Road, between Moffat Road and Plainview Drive for bridge work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
8. Interstate 475: Bridge Widening *UPDATE*
Lucas County (251-13 & 235-14): Through December, Angola Road at I-475 will close for bridge replacement. Detour: Holland Park Boulevard; North Mall Drive; McCord Road; Airport Highway; Holland Sylvania Road. Through October, the ramp from westbound Airport Highway to northbound I-475 is closed. Detour: southbound I-475; Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive (Exit 6).
Through May 2016, overnight from 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between Angola Road and Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive. 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-475, between Angola Road and Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive. The lane and shoulder restrictions on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) at the I-475 bridge are complete. Manley Road at the Ohio Turnpike Bridge is open. Project complete: August 2016. All work is weather permitting.
9. Interstate 475: Noise Wall Installation
Lucas County (314-14): Through September, shoulder restrictions are possible on I-475, from Talmadge Road to Woodley Road, for noise wall installation. Through October, overnight, 9pm through 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475 from Talmadge Road to Woodley Road for noise wall installation. Additional daytime lane and shoulder restrictions may be announced. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
10. Interstate 475: Pavement Work
Wood County: Through September, overnight from 7pm to 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475 in both directions between SR 25 and US 24 for pavement work. All ramps will remain open. All work is weather permitting.
11. Interstate Maintenance Work
Lucas and Wood Counties: Effective Sunday, August 30, through Monday, September 14, nightly from 9pm to 6am, I-475, between the I-475/US 23 split and Monroe Street, may be reduced to one lane for pavement repair. All ramps will remain open. All work is weather permitting.
Through December, intermittent overnight lane restrictions are possible on I-75, I-280 and I-475 in Lucas and Wood counties for maintenance work. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
12. U.S. Route 20: Holland Sylvania Road & Reynolds Road Intersection Improvements *UPDATE*
Lucas County (145-14 & 252-14): Through September, lane restrictions are possible on Central Avenue from Fairbanks Avenue to Reynolds Road for median installation. Additionally, through September, expect lane restrictions on Holland-Sylvania Road, between Huntingfield Boulevard to Bonsels Parkway for median installation. Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible at the intersection of Central Avenue and Reynolds Road for safety improvements. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
13. U.S. Route 20: Central Avenue Interchange Project
Lucas County (210-15): Through September 2017, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475/US 23 between Dorr Street and the I-475/US 23 interchange. 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place within the work zone. Additional restrictions will be announced. Project complete: September 2017. All work is weather permitting.
14. U.S. Route 20: Utility Work
Lucas County: Through August, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on Central Avenue, between I-475 and Central Park West, for gas line relocation. For more information, contact Columbia Gas at 1-800-344-4077. All work is weather permitting.
15. U.S. Route 20: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Lucas County: US 20, between Murd Road and Washburn Road, is now open. The culvert replacement is complete.
16. U.S. Route 20A: Eber Road Roundabout Project
Lucas County (184-15): Through September, US 20A, between Weckerly Road and Eber Road, is closed for culvert repair. Detour: Airport Highway (SR 2); Crissey Road. A 45-day closure of US 20A at Eber Road will follow in September. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
17. State Route 2: Anthony Wayne Bridge Project
Lucas County (58-13): Through November, the Anthony Wayne Bridge is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Detour: Oak Street; Fassett Street; Miami Street; I-75; Anthony Wayne Trail (Exit 201B); Monroe Street; Summit Street. Through October, short-term intermittent, closures are possible on Yondota Street, Utah Street, Morris Street and Ottawa Street for bridge work. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
18. State Route 25: Safety Project
Lucas County (299-15): Through November 2016, the Anthony Wayne Trail, between Hippo Way and City Park Boulevard, is reduced to two lanes for intersection safety improvements and pavement replacement. Until further notice, left turns are prohibited from the Anthony Wayne Trail to both directions of South Avenue. Left turns are permitted from South Avenue to both directions of the Anthony Wayne Trail. Additional closures will be announced. Project complete: November 2016. All work is weather permitting.
19. State Route 64: Roundabout and Realignment
Lucas County (143-15): The SR 64 and Finzel Road roundabout is now open. Through October, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 64 at Finzel Road for finish work. Local access to businesses will be maintained. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
20. McCord Road: Underpass Construction
Lucas County (236-14): Through September 2016, McCord Road between North Mall Drive/Hall Road and Spectrum Drive is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Detour: Holland Park Boulevard; North Mall Drive. Project complete: November 2016. All work is weather permitting.
21. U.S. Route 6: Pavement Reconstruction and Bridge Work
Wood County (170-14): Through June 2016, the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound US 6 is closed. Detour: westbound US 6; SR 25. Through June 2016, US 6, between SR 25 and Dunbridge road, is reduced to one lane in each direction. Lane widths are restricted to 11ft in this work zone. Work complete: June 2016. All work is weather permitting.
22. U.S. Route 6: Resurfacing and Bridge Work
Wood County (434-14): Through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on US 6, between County Home Road and SR 199 for resurfacing. Traffic is maintained by flaggers. Through August, US 6, between Rudolph Road and Klopfenstein Road is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge repair. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
23. U.S. Route 20: Culvert Replacement
Wood County (8002-15): Through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on US 20, between SR 163 and SR 420, for finish work. Project complete: August. All work is weather permitting.
24. State Route 64: Slide Repair
Wood County (155-15): Through September, a temporary traffic signal will be used to maintain one lane of traffic on SR 64, between Reitz Road and SR 64/65 Waterville Bridge for slide repair. Through October, intermittent lane restrictions are possible within this work zone for slide repair. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
25. State Route 65: Slope Repair
Wood County (119-15): Through early September, SR 65, between Weston Road and Benschoter Road, is closed for slope repair. Detour: SR 235; US 6; SR 65. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
26. State Route 65: Culvert Replacement
Wood County (313-15): Through August, short-term lane restrictions are possible on SR 65, between Five Point Road and River View Place, for culvert replacement. Project Complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
27. State Route 105: Resurfacing
Wood County (99-15): Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 105, between Pemberville Road and US 23, for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
28. State Route 235: Resurfacing *NEW PROJECT*
Wood County (441-15): Effective Tuesday, September 8, through November, SR 235, between Willow Road and Old Coach Road, will be closed for resurfacing. Detour: US 6; SR 65. Project Complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
29. State Route 420: Safety Improvements
Wood County (423-14): Through August, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-280, between SR 795 and SR 163, and on SR 420, between SR 163 and I-80/I-90, for finish work. Project complete: August. All work is weather permitting.
30. State Route 582: Bridge Rehabilitation *UPDATE*
Wood County (154-15): Through September, SR 582, between Stony Ridge Road and Layman Road is closed for bridge rehabilitation. Detour: SR 199; SR 105; US 23. Project complete:

31. State Route 582: Pavement Repair *CLOSED TODAY*
Wood County: Today from 7am until 8pm, SR 582 between Dunbridge Road and SR 199, will be closed for pavement repair. Detour: SR 25; US 6; SR 199. All work is weather permitting.
32. Gypsy Lane Road: Bridge Repair *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Wood County (1093-14): Gypsy Lane Road over I-75 is open. The bridge repair is complete.
33. Park Avenue: Bridge Replacement *UPDATE*
Wood County (3028-15): Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Park Avenue in Fostoria, between Lincoln Avenue and Kennedy Lane, for finish work. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
34. Jerry City Road: Bridge Replacement
Wood County (3028-15): Through September, Jerry City Road, between Rudolph Road and Mitchell Road, will be closed for bridge replacement. Detour: Rudolph Road; Cygnet Road; Mitchell Road. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
35. Caris Road: Culvert Replacement *CLOSURE BEGINS MONDAY*
Wood County (312-15): Effective Monday, August 31, through October, Caris Road, between SR 582 and Devils Hole Road, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 582; SR 199; Devils Hole Road. Additionally at this time, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 582 at Caris Road. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
Ottawa/Sandusky/Seneca Counties
36. State Route 2: Lightner Road Bridge Widening
Ottawa County (232-15): Through August 2016, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 2, between SR 53/SE Catawba Road and SR 269, for bridge work. Additionally, Lightner Road, between Kirk Road and East State Road, may be reduced to one lane for temporary pavement construction. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Additional restrictions will be announced. Project complete: September 2016. All work is weather permitting.
37. U.S. Route 6: Roundabout Construction
Sandusky County (8018-15): Through October, a temporary traffic signal is used to maintain one lane of traffic on US 6/SR 53, between Napoleon Road and Muskellunge Creek Road. Through October, Muskellunge Creek Road, between Spieldenner Road and Gerwin Road, is closed. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
38. State Route 590: Culvert Replacement
Sandusky County (194-15): Through September, SR 590, between Havens Station Road and Greensburg Pike, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: US 6; SR 53; SR 12. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
39. State Route 590: Culvert Replacement *NEW WORK*
Sandusky County: Effective Monday, September 7, through September, SR 590, between TR 127 and TR 161, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: US 20; SR 19; SR 105. All work is weather permitting.
40. U.S. Route 23: Culvert Replacement *CLOSURE BEGINS TOMORROW*
Seneca County: Effective Friday, August 28, through mid-September, US 23, between CR 18 and TR 112/Center Road, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 18; SR 587; US 224. All work is weather permitting.
41. State Route 18: Resurfacing *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Seneca County (97-15): Intermittent lane restrictions on SR 18, between TR 159 and SR 67/SR 18, are complete. The resurfacing project is complete.
42. State Route 19: Culvert Replacement
Seneca County (237-15): Through September, SR 19, between TR 44 and CR 58/Crawford Seneca County Line Road, is closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 67; SR 100; SR 103. Effective Tuesday, September 1, through October, lane restrictions are possible on SR 19, between US 224 and CR 58/Crawford Seneca County Line Road, for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
43. State Route 100: Culvert Replacement
Seneca County (236-15): Through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 100, between SR 67 and TR 44, for finish work.
44. State Route 587: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Seneca County (281-15 & 55-15): SR 587, between TR 90/Sauber Road and TR 56/Arendt Road, is open. The culvert replacement is complete.
Williams/Fulton/Henry Counties
45. State Route 107: Bridge Rehabilitation
Williams County (153-15): Through August, SR 107, between CR 8 and CR 9, is closed for bridge rehabilitation. Detour: SR 49; US 20; SR 576. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.
46. State Route 191: Culvert Replacement *WORK COMPLETE*
Williams County: SR 191, between CR I50 and CR K, is now open. Culvert work is now complete.
47. County Road 49/County Road 16: Bridge Replacement
Williams County (3036-15): Effective Tuesday, September 8, through October, CR 49/CR 16, between CR I50 and CR J, will be closed for bridge replacement. Detour: CR J; SR 15; CR G. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
48. State Route 18: Culvert Replacement *NEW PROJECT*
Henry County (160-15): Effective Monday, August 31, through September, SR 18, between CR 16 and CR 18, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 281; SR 108. Additionally at this time, CR 17 at SR 18 will be closed. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
49. State Route 65: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Henry County (67-15): SR 65, between CR J and CR K, is now open. The culvert replacement project is complete.
50. State Route 65: Culvert Replacement *CLOSURE BEGINS TUESDAY*
Henry County: Effective Tuesday, September 1, through Friday, September 4, SR 65, between CR P and CR Q, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: US 6; SR 109; SR 110. All work is weather permitting.
51. State Route 109: Damascus Bridge: Bridge Replacement
Henry County (1-15): Through October 2017, motorists should watch for additional truck traffic near SR 109 at the Damascus bridge for bridge work. Work impacting traffic will be announced. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.

52. Various Routes: Guardrail & Electrical Maintenance
District Wide (1071-14 & 1076-14): Through December, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for guardrail and electrical maintenance. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
