Lucas/Wood Counties

1. Interstate 75: Widening
*TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES BEGIN MONDAY MORNING*
Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14):

Interstate Restrictions:
Through November, overnight, from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.

Through December, one lane of northbound I-75 traffic, from Roachton Road to US 20, will be maintained in the northbound lane and one lane of northbound I-75 traffic, from Roachton Road to US 20, will be maintained on southbound I-75.

Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg.

Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.

Beginning Sunday, June 7 at 8pm, through Monday, June 8 at 6am, southbound I-75, between Devils Hole Road and Gypsy Lane Road will be reduced to one lane for redirection onto new pavement.  Following this work, traffic will be placed on new southbound pavement in this area. *Motorists are advised of traffic pattern changes throughout this work zone.*

Ramp Restrictions:
Effective Monday, June 8 at 12:01am through 5am, the ramp from southbound I-75 to SR 64 (Exit 181) and the ramp from SR 64 to southbound I-75 will be closed for pavement installation. Suggested alternate route: Dunbridge Road; US 6.  *Motorists are advised of traffic pattern changes throughout this work zone.*

Through December, the ramp from southbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane.  The ramp from eastbound I-475 to northbound I-75 is permanently reduced to one lane.

Local Routes:
Effective Monday, June 15 through October, Jerry City Road at I-75 will be closed for bridge work.  Detour: SR 25; SR 281; Solether Road.

Through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, is closed for bridge work over I-75.

Project complete: October 2017.  All work is weather permitting.

2. Interstate 75: Widening *INTERCHANGE RAMP CLOSURE TONIGHT*
Lucas County (485-14, 536-14):
Through July 2018, overnight, 7pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from I-475 in Toledo to I-280 for bridge work.  Through fall 2016, one lane of I-75 traffic is maintained in the current northbound lane and one lane of traffic is relocated to southbound I-75 and separated by barrier wall.

Effective Friday, June 5 at 12:01am to 5am, the ramp from southbound I-75 to southbound I-280 will be closed for barrier wall placement installation. Detour: Stickney Avenue (Exit 207); Lagrange Avenue; northbound I-75; southbound I-280.

The following ramps are closed:

·         Through November 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue (Exit 206).  Detour: south Expressway Drive (Exit 207); Stickney Avenue; North Expressway Drive.

·         Through June 2016, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Philips Avenue (Exit 206).  Detour: North Expressway Drive (Exit 207); Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.

·         Through June 2016, the ramp from Phillips Avenue to northbound I-75.  Detour: Manhattan Boulevard; Lagrange Street; South Expressway Drive.

·         The ramp from North Cove Boulevard to westbound I-475 is permanently closed.  Detour: Central Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue.

·         The ramp from eastbound I-475 to northbound I-75 to Jeep Parkway is permanently closed.  Detour: Philips Avenue (Exit 206); Detroit Avenue; Berdan Avenue.

·         Through July 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Jeep Parkway (Exit 205A).  Detour: Berdan Avenue (Exit 205B); Detroit Avenue.

·         Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep Parkway to southbound I-75.  Detour: Berdan Avenue.

·         Through July 2018, the ramp from Willys Parkway to northbound I-75.  Detour: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Philips Avenue.

·         Through July 2018, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Willys Parkway (Exit 205A).  Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B).
Local Streets:
Cecelia Avenue at I-75 is permanently closed.  Detour: Stickney Avenue

Through May 2017, the Polish Village Overpass is closed for bridge work.  Detour: North Expressway Drive; Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.

Through July, expect lane restrictions on Phillips Avenue at I-75, on Lagrange Street at I-75, and on Stickney Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.

Through October, South Expressway Drive will be restricted to a single lane between Stickney Avenue and Lagrange Street.

Through June 2016, Jeep Parkway from Central Avenue to Berdan Avenue is closed.  Central Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Berdan Avenue.

Through July 2018, Willys Parkway from Pioneer Lane to Jeep Parkway is closed.

Project complete: July 2018.  All work is weather permitting.

3. Interstate 75: Pavement Rehabilitation *RAMP CLOSURES EFFECTIVE OVERNIGHT*
Lucas County (268-14):
Through July, I-75, from the I-75/475 split in Toledo to the Anthony Wayne Trail, is reduced to two lanes. Overnight, 10pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible in this work zone.  Through May 2016, Oakwood Avenue, between Wells Street and Grove Place, is closed for bridge work.  Seek alternate route.

Effective Friday, June 5 at 10pm, through August 2016, the ramp from Detroit Avenue to northbound I-75 will be closed for northbound I-75 traffic switch.  Detour: Monroe Street; 14th Street.  Additional ramp closures along northbound I-75 in this work zone will be announced.

Effective Friday, June 5 at 10pm, through Saturday, June 6 at 6am, the ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 will be closed for barrier wall installation. Detour: Berdan Avenue (Exit 205B).

Through July 2016, the following ramps will be restricted or closed:

·         The interchange ramp from eastbound I-475 to southbound I-75 is reduced to one lane.

·         The interchange ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane.

·         The ramp from Detroit Avenue to southbound I-75 is closed.  Detour: Monroe Street; Michigan Avenue; SR 25.

Additional ramp closures will be announced.  Project complete: July 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

4. Interstate 475: ProMedica Parkway Ramp
Lucas County:
  Through 2016, the ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 is closed for traffic control.  Detour: westbound I-475; Douglas Road.  All work is weather permitting.

5. Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23: Interchange Upgrade
Lucas County (184-14):
Overnight lane restrictions are possible at the interchange of I-475/US 23 from Central Avenue to N. Holland Sylvania Road.  Through July, lane restrictions are possible on Blossman Road, between Moffet Road and Plainview Drive for bridge work.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.

6. Interstate 475: Bridge Widening                            

Lucas County (251-13 & 235-14):  Through June, Manley Road at the Ohio Turnpike Bridge is closed. Through July, the ramp from Airport Highway to southbound I-475 is closed for bridge repair.  Detour: I-475; Central Avenue (Exit 13). Through May 2016, overnight from 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between Angola Road and Salsibury Road/Dussel Drive.  11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-475, between Angola Road and Salsibury Road/Dussel Drive.  Through June 2016, lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) at the I-475 bridge.  Project complete: June 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

7. Interstate 475: Noise Wall Installation

Lucas County (314-14): Through June, weekdays from 10am until 4pm, and on Saturdays from 7:30am until 4pm, eastbound I-475, between Corey Road and Talmadge Road, may be reduced to one lane for post installation.  Through July, shoulder restrictions are possible on I-475, from Corey Road to Woodley Road, for noise wall installation.  Through July, overnight, 9pm through 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475 from Corey Road to Woodley Road.  Project complete: July.  All work is weather permitting.

8. Interstate 475: Bridge Deck Replacement Lucas County (480-14): Through August, overnight from 9pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475 at Bancroft Street for bridge replacement.  Through August, expect shoulder restrictions on I-475 at Bancroft Street for bridge repair. Though July, Bancroft Street at I-475 is closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: Holland-Sylvania Road; Dorr Street; McCord Road.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

9. Interstate 475: Pavement Work

Wood County: Through June, overnight from 7pm to 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475 in both directions between SR 25 and US 24 for pavement work.  All ramps will remain open.  All work is weather permitting.

10. Interstate 475 & 280: Drainage Work *NEW WORK*
Lucas County:
 Effective Sunday, June 7 at 8pm through Monday, June 8 at 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475 between Talmadge Road and I-75/475 in Toledo for drainage work.  On Monday, June 8 through Wednesday, June 10, overnight from 8pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-280 from Greenbelt Parkway to Front Street for drainage work.  Additionally, at this time, short-term intermittent ramp restrictions are possible in this work zone.  All work is weather permitting.

11. U.S. Route 20: Holland Sylvania Road & Reynolds Road Intersection Improvements
Lucas County (145-14 & 252-14):
 Through June, lane restrictions are possible on Central Avenue from Fairbanks Avenue to Reynolds Road for median installation.  Additionally, through June, expect lane restrictions on Holland-Sylvania Road, between Huntingfield Boulevard to Bonsels Parkway for median installation.  Through June, intermittent lane restrictions are possible at the intersection of Central Avenue and Reynolds Road for safety improvements.  Project complete: July.  All work is weather permitting.

12. State Route 2: Anthony Wayne Bridge Project

Lucas County (58-13): Through June, Miami Street between Nevada Street and Greenwood Avenue, is closed for bridge work.  Detour: Fassett Street; Oak Street. Through June, short-term intermittent, closures are possible on Yondota Street, Utah Street, Morris Street and Ottawa Street for bridge work.  Through November, the Anthony Wayne Bridge is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Detour: Oak Street; Fassett Street; Miami Street; I-75; Anthony Wayne Trail (Exit 201B); Monroe Street; Summit Street.    Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.

13. State Route 64: Roundabout and Realignment

Lucas County (143-15) Through August, SR 64, at Finzel Road will be closed for roundabout construction.  Detour: SR 295; US 24.  Additionally, Finzel Road south of SR 64 will be closed.  Finzel Road north of SR 64 will remain open at this time.  Additional closures of Finzel Road will be announced.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.  

14. State Route 64: Culvert Replacement
Lucas County:
  Through Monday, June 15, SR 64, between Airport Highway (SR 2) and Waterville Swanton Road will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 295; US 20A; SR 2.  All work is weather permitting.  

15. McCord Road: Underpass Construction *CLOSURE STARTS TOMORROW*
Lucas County (236-14):
On Friday, June 5, through August, North Mall Drive/Hall Street at McCord Road will be closed.  Local business access will be maintained.  Through September 2016, McCord Road between North Mall Drive/Hall Road and Spectrum Drive is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Detour: Airport Highway; Holland Sylvania; Angola Road.   Project complete: November 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

16. Various Routes: Bridge Painting
Lucas County (8027-14):
  Through June, overnight, 6pm through 6am, lane restrictions are possible on US 24 at Fallen Timbers Lane for bridge painting.  Additionally, at this time, lane restrictions are possible on Fallen Timbers Lane.  Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.

17. U.S. Route 6: Pavement Reconstruction and Bridge Work
Wood County (170-14):
  On Thursday, June 11, from 9pm through Friday, June 12 at 6am, US 6, between County Home Road and SR 25, will be closed for bridge work.  Detour: eastbound US 6:  southbound I-75; Cygnet Road (Exit 171); northbound I-75.  Detour westbound US 6: northbound I-75; SR64/SR105 (Exit 181); southbound I-75.  Through October, the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound US 6 is closed.  Detour: westbound US 6; SR 25.  Through October, US 6, between SR 25 and Dunbridge road, is reduced to one lane in each direction.  Lane widths are restricted to 11ft in this work zone. Work complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.

18. U.S. Route 6:  Resurfacing and Bridge Work
Wood County (434-14): Through July, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on US 6, between County Home Road and SR 199 for resurfacing.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Through August, US 6, between Rudolph Road and Klopfenstein Road is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge repair.  Project complete: September.  All work is weather permitting.

19. U.S. Route 20: Railroad Repair
Wood County:
  Through Friday, June 5, US 20, between East Broadway Street and SR 163, will be closed for railroad repair.  Detour: Oregon Road; SR 795; I-280.  All work is weather permitting. 

20. U.S. Route 20: Culvert Replacement
Wood County (8002-15):
  Effective Monday, June 15, through July, US 20, between SR 163 and SR 420 will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 420; SR 163.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

21. State Route 65: Resurfacing
Wood County (587-14):
Through August, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 65, between SR 235 to SR 64 for resurfacing.  Lane width restrictions of 10.5 feet are possible in this work zone.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

22. State Route 65:  Slope Repair

Wood County (119-15):    Through September, SR 65, between Weston Road through Benschoter Road, will be closed for slope repair.  Detour: SR 235; US 6; SR 65.  Project complete: September.  All work is weather permitting.

23. State Route 281: Bridge Replacement

Wood County (442-14): Through Friday, June 12, SR 281, between SR 25 and Solether Road, is closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: SR 25; US 6; SR 199. Project complete: June.  All work is weather permitting. 

24. State Route 420: Safety Improvements *CLOSURE STARTS MONDAY*

Wood County (423-14): Effective Monday, June 8, through June, the ramp from Ohio Turnpike to northbound I-280 will be closed.  Detour: southbound I-280/SR 420; use J-turn south of Libbey Road; northbound I-280/SR 420.  Through July, northbound SR 420, between SR 163 and Libbey Road, is reduced to one lane for widening.  The left turn lane from southbound SR 420 to Libbey Road is permanently closed.  Motorists should use the newly built turnaround. 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on northbound SR 420.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

25. Gypsy Lane Road: Bridge Repair 

Wood County (1093-14): Through July, Gypsy Lane Road over I-75 is reduced to one lane for bridge repair.  Traffic is maintained by automated signal.  Project complete: July.  All work is weather permitting.  

Ottawa/Sandusky/Seneca Counties

26. State Route 2: Mine Remediation
Ottawa County (27-13):
  Through June, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 2, between SR 163 and SR 53 for finish work.  Project complete: June.  All work is weather permitting.

27. State Route 2: Pavement Repair
Ottawa County:
Through Friday, June 5 at 3pm, lane restrictions are possible on SR 2, between SR 163 and SE Catawba Road (SR 53) for pavement repair.  All work is weather permitting. 

28. U.S. Route 6: Bridge Painting *UPDATE*
Sandusky County (96-15
): Through Saturday, June 6, the ramp from westbound US 20 to US 6/5th Street (Exit 102) will be closed for bridge painting. Detour: SR 53 (Exit 101); eastbound US 20.  Additionally at this time, the ramp from US 6/5th Street to eastbound US 20 will be closed for bridge painting.  Detour: westbound US 20; SR 53 (Exit 101).  Through June, US 6/5th Street, at US 20 will be reduced to one lane for bridge painting.  Project complete: June.  All work is weather permitting.

29. State Route 12: Bridge Rehabilitation *UPDATE*

Sandusky and Seneca Counties (433-14): SR 12, between SR 53 and Franklin Street in Bettsville is now open. Through June, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 12, between SR 53 and Franklin Street in Bettsville for resurfacing. Project complete: July.  All work is weather permitted.

30. State Route 412: Culvert Repair

Sandusky County (324-14):  Through June, SR 412, between US 20 and SR 510 is closed for culvert repair.  Detours: US 20; SR 510.  Additional restrictions may be announced. Project complete: July.  All work is weather permitted.

31. State Route 590: Bridge Replacement *CLOSURE STARTS MONDAY*
Sandusky County (534-14):  Effective Monday, June 8, through July, SR 590, between SR 12 and US 6, will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: US 6; SR 635; SR 12; SR 53.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

32. State Route 635: Culvert Replacement
Sandusky County:
Through Friday, June 5 at 3pm, SR 635, between US 6 and Greensburg Pike, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 12; SR 53; US 6.  All work is weather permitting.

33. U.S. Route 224: Resurfacing

Seneca County (50-15):  Through June, US 224, between Miller Street and Township Road 197, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour:  SR 4; SR 162; SR 99.  Additional lane restrictions will be announced for resurfacing.  Project complete: July.  All work weather permitting.

34. State Route 4: Culvert Replacement *CLOSURE STARTS MONDAY*
Seneca County (195-15
):  Effective Monday, June 8, through June, SR 4 between SR 162 and TR 122, will be closed for culvert repair.  Detour: US 20; SR 18; SR 19, SR 162.  Project complete:  October.  All work is weather permitting.

35.  State Route 18: Resurfacing

Seneca County (20-15): Through June, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 18 between CR 32 and the Seneca/Sandusky county line. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: June.  All work is weather permitted.

36. State Route 587: Culvert Replacement
Seneca County (55-15):
Effective Tuesday, July 7, through July, SR 587 between CR 18 and TR 112, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: US 224; US 23; SR 18.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

37. State Route 635: Culvert Replacement *CLOSURE STARTS TUESDAY*

Seneca County: Effective Tuesday, June 9 at 7am through July, SR 635, between SR 18 and CR 592, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 18; SR 12.   All work is weather permitting.

Williams/Fulton/Henry Counties

38. U.S. Route 6: Culvert Replacement *NEW WORK*
Williams County (534-14):
 Effective Monday, June 15, through July, US 6, between CR 5.5 and CR 7, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 49, SR 249, SR 2.  All work is weather permitting. 

39. State Route 109: Damascus Bridge: Bridge Replacement
Henry County (1-15):
  Through October 2017, motorists should watch for additional truck traffic near SR 109 at the Damascus bridge for bridge work.  Work impacting traffic will be announced.  Project complete: October 2017.  All work is weather permitting.

40. State Route 281: Culvert Replacement Project *NEW WORK*
Henry County (179-15):
 Effective Monday, June 15, through August, SR 281, between CR 18 and CR 19 will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 108; SR 18.   Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.

District Wide  

41. Various Routes: Guardrail & Electrical Maintenance

District Wide (1071-14 & 1076-14): Through December, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for guardrail and electrical maintenance.  Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
