Lucas/Wood Counties
1. Interstate 75: Widening *RESTRICTIONS & RAMP CLOSURE FRIDAY*
Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14):
Interstate Restrictions: Through November, overnight, from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County. Through December, I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through December, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg and from Eagleville Road to CR 99 in Hancock County.
Effective Friday, November 18, from 4pm until 11:59pm, southbound I-75, between Dowling Road and Devils Hole Road, will be reduced to one lane for traffic pattern change.
Effective Friday, November 18, from 6pm until 11:59pm, southbound I-75, between US 20 (Exit 193) and Roachton Road, will be reduced to one lane for traffic pattern change.
Motorists should expect delays.
Southbound I-75, between Portage Road and Oil Center Road, is open to three lanes. Effective Thursday, November 24, southbound I-75, between Roachton Road and Eagleville Road, will be open to three lanes.
Effective Thursday, November 24, northbound I-75, between Eagleville Road and SR 582, will be open to three lanes.
Ramp Restrictions:
· Effective Friday, November 18 from 6pm until 11:59pm, the ramp from southbound I-475 to southbound I-75 will be closed for traffic pattern change. Detour: northbound I-75; SR 795 (Exit 195); southbound I-75.
· Through Friday, November 18, the ramp from southbound I-75 to SR 582 is closed for pavement widening. Detour: SR 64/SR 105 (Exit 181); northbound I-75.
· Through Friday, November 18, the ramp from SR 582 to southbound I-75 is closed for pavement widening. Detour: northbound I-75; US 20 (Exit 193); southbound I-75.
State Routes:
SR 582 over I-75, is now open to two lanes.
Local Routes:
Through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, is closed for bridge work over I-75.
Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
2. Interstate 75: Widening *MAJOR TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE*
Lucas County (485-14, 536-14): Through September 2018, overnight, 7pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from I-475 in Toledo to I-280 for bridge work.
Effective Friday, November 18 at 9pm, through Saturday, November 19 at noon, lane restrictions are possible on northbound I-75, between Lagrange Street and I-280, for traffic pattern change.
The following ramps are restricted/closed:
- Through July 2018, the ramp from Phillips Avenue to southbound I-75 is closed. Detour: northbound I-75; Stickney Avenue (Exit 207); North Expressway Drive; southbound I-75.
- Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep/Willys Parkway to southbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Detroit Avenue.
- Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep/Willys Parkway to northbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue.
- Through July 2018, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Jeep/Willys Parkway (Exit 205A) is closed. Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B).
· Through September 2018, the interchange ramp from eastbound I-475 to southbound I-75 is reduced to one lane.
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to Berdan Avenue (Exit 205B) is permanently closed. Detour: Phillips Avenue (Exit 206); Detroit Avenue; Berdan Avenue.
Local Streets:
Through Friday, November 18, nightly from 10pm until 6am, Stickney Avenue under I-75 will be closed for bridge demolition. Detour: North Expressway Drive; Chrysler Drive; Manhattan Boulevard; Lagrange Street. Access to the ramps will be maintained.
Effective Sunday, November 20, through Wednesday, November 23, nightly from 9pm until 6am, Lagrange Street under I-75 will be closed for bridge demolition. Detour: Sylvania Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue; Manhattan Boulevard.
Through November, South Expressway Drive is restricted to a single lane between Stickney Avenue and Lagrange Street.
Through November, Elm Street and Wersell Avenue at South Expressway Drive, are closed.
Through May 2017, the Polish Village Overpass is closed for bridge work. Detour: North Expressway Drive; Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.
Through October 2017, expect lane restrictions on Phillips Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.
Through July 2018, lane restrictions are possible on Detroit Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.
Through July 2018, expect lane restrictions on Berdan Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.
Through July 2018, Willys Parkway from Pioneer Lane to Jeep Parkway is closed.
Project complete: September 2018. All work is weather permitting.
3. Interstate 75: Bridge Deck and Pavement Repair
Lucas County: Effective Tuesday, November 29, through Friday, December 2, nightly from 7pm until 6am, northbound I-75, between South Avenue and Dorr Street, will be reduced to one lane for bridge deck repair. In addition, the following ramps will be closed for bridge deck and pavement repair:
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to Collingwood Boulevard (Exit 201A). Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B); Monroe Street.
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to Anthony Wayne Trail/Erie Street (Exit 201B). Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B); Monroe Street.
Additionally, effective Friday, December 2, from 9am until 3pm, and Saturday, December 3 through Sunday, December 4, daily from 9am until 5pm, northbound I-75, between South Avenue and Dorr Street, will be reduced to one lane for pavement repair. In addition, the following ramps will be closed for bridge deck and pavement repair:
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to Collingwood Boulevard (Exit 201A). Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B); Monroe Street.

4. Interstate 75: Pavement Rehabilitation
Lucas County (268-14): All lanes of I-75, between the I-75/475 interchange and the Anthony Wayne Trail, are open. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
5. Interstate 75/280: Rerouting *MAJOR TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE*
Lucas County (536-14): Effective Friday, November 18 at 9pm, through Saturday, November 19 at noon, lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-280, between Greenbelt Parkway and I-75, for striping.
Effective Friday, November 18 at 9pm, through Saturday, November 19 at 5am, the ramp from Manhattan Boulevard to southbound I-280 will be closed for striping. Detour: Lagrange Street; South Expressway Drive; northbound I-75; southbound I-280.
Effective Saturday, November 19, from 12:01am until 4am, the ramp from northbound I-75 to southbound I-280 will be closed for striping. Detour: Alexis Road (Exit 210); southbound I-75; southbound I-280.
At this time, northbound I-75 traffic will be placed on the new bridge over I-280, and the northbound I-75 reroute will no longer be in effect.
Effective Saturday, November 19, from 5am until 10am, the ramp from southbound I-75 to southbound I-280 will be closed for striping. Detour: Lagrange Street (Exit 207); South Expressway Drive; northbound I-75; southbound I-280.
Effective Monday, November 21, from 7am until 5pm, lane restrictions are possible on northbound I-280, between Greenbelt Parkway and I-75, for striping.
Through Saturday, November 19, northbound I-75 traffic is rerouted to southbound I-280 for bridge replacement. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. Reroute: southbound I-280; Central Avenue; northbound I-280. Through December, Central Avenue, between Buckeye Street and Galena Street, is closed. Detour: Lagrange Street; Greenbelt Parkway; Galena Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
6. Interstate 75: Rest Area Closure
Wood County (170-14): Through December, the northbound I-75 rest area is closed for renovations. Through June 2017, the southbound I-75 rest area is closed for renovations, pavement repair. Project complete: June 2017. All work is weather permitting.
7. Interstate 280: Bridge Repair
Lucas County (1075-16): Through November, southbound I-280, between Greenbelt Parkway (Exit 11) and Starr Avenue (Exit 8), may be reduced to two lanes for bridge repair. Through November, the ramp from Greenbelt Parkway to southbound I-280 is closed for bridge work. Detour: northbound I-280; Manhattan Boulevard (Exit 12). Project complete: January 2017. All work is weather permitting.
8. Interstate 475: ProMedica Parkway Ramp
Lucas County: The ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 is open to access southbound I-75 only. Through September 2018, the ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 to access northbound I-75 is closed. Detour: southbound I-75; Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B); northbound I-75. All work is weather permitting.
9. Interstate Maintenance Work
Lucas and Wood Counties: Through November, daily from 9am until 3pm, lane restrictions are possible on the collector ramp from southbound I-75 to the Ohio Turnpike and SR 795 (Exit 195) for pavement repair. The ramps will remain open.
Through December, intermittent overnight lane restrictions are possible on I-75, I-280 and I-475 in Lucas and Wood counties for maintenance work. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
10. U.S. Route 20: Central Avenue Interchange Project
Lucas County (210-15): Through September 2017, Central Avenue, between McCord Road and Van Fleet Parkway, may be reduced to one lane for finish work.
Through September 2017, lane restrictions are possible on I-475/US 23 between Dorr Street and N. Holland Sylvania Road. 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place within the work zone. Project complete: September 2017. All work is weather permitting.
11. U.S. Route 20: Resurfacing and Turn Lanes *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Lucas County (366-16): Lane restrictions on Central Avenue/US 20, between Lucas/Fulton County line and King Road, are lifted. The resurfacing and turn lanes project is complete.
12. U.S. Route 20: Traffic Signal Upgrades *UPDATE*
Lucas County (301-16): Through December, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible at the intersection of Central Avenue/US 20 and Meijer Drive for finish work. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
13. U.S. Route 24: Pavement Repair
Lucas County: Through Saturday, November 19, lane restrictions are possible on US 24, between the Henry/Lucas County line and Fallen Timbers Lane (Exit 67), for pavement repair work. All work is weather permitting.
14. State Route 2: Resurfacing
Lucas County (246-16): Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Airport Highway/SR 2, between Garden Road and the Lucas/Fulton County line, for finish work. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
15. State Route 2: Intersection Upgrades
Lucas County (142-15): Through November, nightly from 7pm until 6am, overnight lane restrictions are possible on Airport Highway/SR 2 at Holland Sylvania Road, for intersection upgrades. Through November, nightly from 7pm until 6am, overnight lane restrictions are possible on SR 2/Airport Highway at Reynolds Road, for intersection upgrades. Additional restrictions will be announced. Project Complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
16. State Route 2: Anthony Wayne Bridge Painting Project
Lucas County (220-16): Lane restrictions on the Anthony Wayne Bridge and local road closures will be announced. Project complete: November 2017. All work is weather permitting.
17. State Route 2: Resurfacing
Lucas County (8028-16): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on SR 2, between North Curtice Road and the Lucas/Ottawa county line. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Additional restrictions will be announced in Spring 2017. Project complete: June 2017. All work is weather permitting.
18. State Route 51: Bridge Repair
Lucas County (60-16): Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Monroe Street/SR 51, between Parkview Avenue and Inwood Drive in Toledo, for finish work. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
19. Bancroft Street: Bridge Repair
Lucas County (59-16): Through November, overnight, 7pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from the I-75/475 split in Toledo to the Anthony Wayne Trail.
The ramp from Detroit Avenue to southbound I-75 is now open.
Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
20. Delaware Avenue: Bridge Rehabilitation
Lucas County (25-16): Delaware Avenue, between Ayers Avenue and Kress Street in Toledo, is open. Finish work will be completed from the sidewalk.
Through Friday, November 18, daily from 9am until 3pm, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between the I-75/475 split and Detroit Avenue, for bridge work.
Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
21. McCord Road: Underpass Construction
Lucas County (236-14): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on McCord Road, between North Mall Drive/Hall Road and Spectrum Drive, for finish work. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
22. Oakwood Avenue: Bridge Work
Lucas County (268-14): Through Friday, November 18, daily from 9am until 3pm, single lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-75, between Bancroft Street and Dorr Street, for bridge work. Additionally at this time, the ramp from Lawrence Avenue to southbound I-75 will be closed for bridge work. Detour: Monroe Street; Michigan Street.
Through November, the intersection of Oakwood Avenue and Art Museum Drive, will be closed for pavement work. Seek alternate route. Through November, Oakwood Avenue, between Wells Street and Grove Place, is closed for bridge work. Seek alternate route. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
23. Rushland Avenue: Bridge Redecking
Lucas County (289-16): Through November, nightly from 7pm through 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, at Rushland Avenue for bridge work. Through November, Rushland Avenue between Groveland Road and Langenderfer Drive is closed for bridge deck replacement. Detour: Langenderfer Drive; Bowen Road; Groveland Road. Project complete: June 2018. All work is weather permitting.
24. U.S. Route 6: Pavement Reconstruction and Bridge Work
Wood County (170-14): Through November, US 6, between SR 25 and Dunbridge Road, is reduced to one lane in each direction. Lane widths are restricted to 11ft in this work zone. Work complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
25. U.S. Route 6: Resurfacing and Culvert Replacements
Wood County (373-16): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on US 6, between the Wood/Henry County line and SR 235, for paving. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
26. State Route 25: Diverging Diamond Interchange
Wood County (8029-16): Through October 2017, overnight from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between the I-75/475 interchange and Fort Meigs Road. Additionally, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on SR 25, between Levis Commons Boulevard and Eckel Junction Road. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
27. State Route 105: Railroad Repair
Wood County: Through Tuesday, November 22, SR 105, between Bierley Avenue and Bradner Road, is closed for railroad repair. Detour: US 23; US 6; SR 199. All work is weather permitting.
28. State Route 199: Roundabout Construction
Wood County (4004-16): Additional restrictions for the roundabout at SR 199 and Roachton Road may be announced for finish work. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
29. State Route 235: Railroad Repair *WORK COMPLETE*
Wood County: SR 235, between Railroad Street and Needles Road in Hoytville, is open. The railroad repair is complete.
30. State Route 795: Traffic Signal Upgrades *UPDATE*
Wood County (301-16): Through December, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 795 at Glenwood Road, for traffic signal upgrades. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
31. Cherry Street: Bridge Replacement
Wood County (3053-15): Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Cherry Street, between Lennex Lane and Main Street in Millbury, for finish work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
32. Dunbridge Road: Bridge Replacement *ROAD OPEN*
Wood County (3053-15): Dunbridge Road, between Nelson Road and Simonds Road, is now open. Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Dunbridge Road, between Nelson Road and Simonds Road, for finish work. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
33. Lemoyne Road: Bridge Replacement
Wood County (3053-15): Through November, Lemoyne Road, between Gilbert Road and Garling Road, is closed for bridge replacement. Detour: SR 582; Pemberville Road; US 20; Lemoyne Access Road. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
34. Lime City Road: Bridge Replacement
Wood County (3053-15): Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Lime City Road between Marilyn Drive and Grassy Lane for finish work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project Complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
Ottawa/Sandusky/Seneca Counties
35. State Route 51: Pavement Repair *UPDATE*
Ottawa and Wood Counties (194-16): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on SR 51, between SR 163 and SR 579, for pavement repair. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Additional restrictions will be announced in spring 2017. Project complete: June 2017. All work is weather permitting.
36. State Route 163: Bridge Rehabilitation Project
Ottawa County (304-15): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on the SR 163 lift bridge in Port Clinton for bridge work. The closure of the SR 163 lift bridge in Port Clinton has been postponed to October 2017. Project complete: June 2018. All work is weather permitting.
37. State Route 53: Traffic Signal Upgrades *UPDATE*
Sandusky County (301-16): Through December, shoulder restrictions are possible on SR 53, between US 20 and Sean Street, for finish work. Additional restrictions may be announced. Project Complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
38. State Route 18: Bridge Replacement
Seneca County (406-16): Through November, SR 18, between CR 32 and TR 178 over Royer Ditch, is closed for bridge replacement. Detour: SR 162; SR 4; SR 269; US 20. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
Williams/Fulton/Henry Counties
39. U.S. Route 20A: Railroad repair *WORK COMPLETE*
Williams County: US 20A, between CR M and SR 107, is open. The railroad repair is complete.
40. State Route 2: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Williams County (506-15): The culvert replacement project on SR 2, between CR 19 and CR 20, is complete.
41. State Route 15: Pavement Repair *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Williams County (489-15): The culvert replacement project on SR 15, between US 127 and CR O, is complete.
42. State Route 576: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Williams County (506-15): The culvert replacement project on SR 576, between CR M and CR N30, is complete.
43. U.S. Route 20A: Resurfacing and Signal Upgrades
Fulton County (8016-16): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on Airport Highway/US 20A, between the Lucas/Fulton County line and CR 3, for resurfacing and signal upgrades. Project complete: January 2017. All work is weather permitting.
44. State Route 64: Bridge Repair
Fulton County (8016-16): SR 64/Main Street, between South Street and Bassett Avenue in Swanton, is now open. Through January 2017, lane restrictions are possible on SR 64/Main Street, between South Street and Bassett Avenue in Swanton, for finish work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: January 2017. All work is weather permitting.
45. State Route 109: Damascus Bridge: Bridge Replacement
Henry County (1-15): Through May 2017, stop signs will be at the intersection of CR 424 at SR 109 for traffic control. Through October 2017, motorists should watch for additional truck traffic near SR 109 at the Damascus bridge for bridge work. Work impacting traffic will be announced. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
District Wide
46. Various Routes: Guardrail, Striping & Electrical Maintenance
District Wide (1053-15 & 1059-15 & 1044-15): Through December, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for guardrail, striping and electrical maintenance. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.
47. Various Routes: Raised Pavement Markers
District Wide (1055-15): Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for raised pavement marker work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.
