The majority of this work will occur without traffic disruption. Temporary road closure is expected in Allen County at state Route 65, approximately 0.25 miles north of the state Route 65 and state Route 115 split near the northern corporate limits of the city of Lima. Traffic at this location will be detoured during construction; however, access to properties within the construction limits will be maintained. Traffic at the north end of the state Route 281 bridge over the Maumee River in Defiance County will be maintained during the day using lane closures with flaggers and barrels.  During the evening, two-way traffic will be restored. Construction is anticipated to occur in the summer of 2018.

Allen County
State Route 65 (Elm)/County Route 509 (Pine) (PID: 88306) – The Ohio Department of Transportation, in partnership with the city of Lima, is proposing a project to repair the state Route 65 (Elm Street) and county Route 509 (Pine Street) bridges over the Ottawa River in the city of Lima in Allen County. Construction activities will require both bridges to be closed at the same time. Vehicle traffic will be detoured during construction and pedestrian crossings are available at nearby bridges. Construction for this project is anticipated to occur in the summer of 2020.

Interstate 75-8.85 (PID: 94206) – This project proposes to rehabilitate the pavement on Interstate 75 in Allen County from just north of the junction with state Route 81 to 0.5 miles south of the Napoleon Road overpass. Construction activities will require temporary lane restrictions; detours are not anticipated. Construction is anticipated to occur in the summer of 2019.

Putnam County
State Route 115-9.89 (PID: 100733) – This project proposes to replace the bridge carrying state Route 115 over Plum Creek in the village of Kalida in Putnam County with a new bridge and reconstructing the abutting roadway.  Construction activities will require a temporary road closure. Traffic will be detoured during construction; however, access to properties within the construction limits will be maintained.

Work on this route will occur in a regulated floodplain. Impacts to this floodplain are anticipated to be minor and result in no rise in localized flood levels.  A statement of findings detailing the results of the final floodplain analysis will be made available on the ODOT District 1 environmental website. Construction is anticipated to occur in the summer of 2021.

State Route 189-5.34 (PID: 105756) – This project proposes to install a new culvert underneath state Route 189 on the east side of the county Road 21 intersection in Putnam County.  The intersection is located approximately 1.6 miles southeast of the village of Fort Jennings.  Construction activities may also include the removal of guardrail and the addition of pavement at the intersection to improve turning radius and sight distance.  Traffic will be detoured during construction; however, access to properties within the construction limits will be maintained. Construction is scheduled to occur in the summer of 2019.

State Route 190-6.20 (PID: 105691) – This project proposes to install 600 feet of retaining wall for erosion control along the west bank of the Auglaize River on state Route 190 near the County Road Q intersection, approximately two miles northeast of the village of Fort Jennings in Putnam County. Construction activities will also include guardrail replacement, curb installation and drainage improvements. This project will require a temporary road closure. Traffic will be detoured during construction; however, access to properties within the construction limits will be maintained.

Work on this route will occur in a regulated floodplain. Impacts to this floodplain is anticipated to be minor and result in no rise in localized flood levels.  A statement of findings detailing the results of the final floodplain analysis will be made available on the ODOT District 1 environmental website. Construction is anticipated to begin in summer or fall of 2020.
