HANCOCK COUNTY: Highway construction update

Week of June 10, 2019

The following highway construction is scheduled to occur within Hancock County. Work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, it will take place during daytime hours.

INTERSTATE 75 RECONSTRUCTION AND WIDENING

INTERSTATE 75

THROUGH HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 southbound between state Route 698 and the city of Findlay will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for bridge deck repairs on Tuesday, June 11. Work is being performed by the ODOT District 1 roadway services department.

State Route 37 between state Route 15 and township road 166, north of Mount Blanchard, will close Wednesday, June 26, for approximately three days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 103, U.S. 68 and state Route 15 back to state Route 37. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 103 between state Route 698 and township Road 71, between the villages of Jenera and Arlington, is expected to close Monday, June 10, for approximately 45 days for a pavement repair and shoulder widening project. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 235, U.S. 30 and U.S. 68 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by Helms and Sons, Findlay. (see map)

U.S. 224 between township Road 254 and township Road 255, east of Findlay, will close Monday, June 24, for approximately two days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 12 and U.S. 23 back to U.S. 224. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 235 between county Road 313 and the Wood County line, excluding its overlaps with state Route 12 and state Route 186, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 235 in the following locations within Hancock County will close for culvert replacement projects. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

State Route 235 between township Road 47 and state Route 12, north of Mount Cory, closed Wednesday, June 3, for approximately three days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Interstate 75, state Route 696 and state Route 12 back to state Route 235. (see map)
State Route 235 between state Route 12 and U.S. 224, north of Benton Ridge, will close Monday, June 10, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 12, county Road 5 and U.S. 224 back to state Route 235. (see map)
State Route 235 between county Road 203 and township Road 11, north of McComb, will close Monday, June 17, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 613, Interstate 75 and state Route 18 back to state Route 235. (see map)

County Road 96 at its intersection with state Route 235, south of McComb, will close Monday, June 10, for approximately two days for a culvert replacement. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.
