Paul E. Bowers, 78, of Sebring, FL and formerly of North Baltimore, passed away at 9:35pm on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Somers Hospice House in Sebring, FL. He was born on November 26, 1940, in Kenton, OH to the late Irvin and Nellie (Dughman) Bowers. He married Sandra (Cunningham) Diem on June 15, 1985, and she survives.
Paul is also survived by his daughters: Elizabeth Bowers of North Baltimore and Susan (Rodney) McConahan of Charlotte Hall, MD; his son, Aaron Bowers of North Baltimore; his step-daughter, Theresa (Michael) Hebert of Lake Worth, FL; his step-sons: Craig (Lori) Diem of Centerville,
OH, Gary (Kathy) Diem of Kingman, AZ and Tim (Janese) Diem of Deshler; 17 grandchildren: Megan, Kristen, Jacob, Trent, Michael, Mason, Madaline, Lindsey, Ashley, Danielle, Michelle, Tiffany, Whitney, Tessa, Garrett, Andrew and Erin; 9 great-grandchildren; and his sisters: Sharon (Ron) Washburn of Mesa, AZ and Joyce (Jay) Spence of North Baltimore.
Paul retired from Hancock Wood Electric. He was a former North Baltimore Volunteer Fireman and former member of the North Baltimore Jaycees. He was a former North Baltimore Little League Baseball Coach, and enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and golfing.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at
SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Reverend John Apple officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, May 3, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
