Pauline Jean VanScoder, 62, of North Baltimore, died at 11:31 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on June 3, 1953, in Bowling Green to the late George and Shirley (Rider) King. She married James E. VanScoder on April 14, 1972, and he survives.
Pauline is also survived by her son, John VanScoder of North Baltimore; her daughter, Shelly (Chris) Nagel of North Baltimore; her brothers: Larry King of Findlay and Danny (Diane) King of Lima; her sisters: Karen (George) Bishop of Findlay and Laura King of Findlay; her beloved grandchildren: Audrey, Jacob and Morghan.
Pauline was a former Dispatcher and Police Officer for the North Baltimore
Police Department. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church,
North Baltimore. She also had been a counselor for Open Arms Domestic
Violence and Rape Crisis Services in Findlay.
Pauline enjoyed shopping, traveling, her vacations with her family, but
her greatest love in life was her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8,
2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church, North Baltimore. Father Arthur J.
Niewiadomski Celebrant. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North
Baltimore.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at
SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, North
Baltimore and/or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
