On Thursday December 10, 2015 the Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students performed Christmas selections for the 500 parents and relatives who were in attendance. Kindergarten and First graders performed “Must Be Santa” and “Up on the Housetop” complete with motions to the delight of the audience.
Second and Third graders charmed the audience with “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” and “A Marshmallow World”.
Students and the families joined together to sing two Christmas favorites, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and “Jingle Bells”. The musical program was directed by Miss Emily Meyerson and accompanied by Miss Janet Goldner. A committee of teachers coordinated the learning of the musical selections.
Reineke Ford also presented a check for $1,160 to the district from the Sign and Drive Promotion held earlier this fall.
