Power was out for about 230 AEP customers on the north side of the tracks in North Baltimore last evening.
Reports indicate that a power transformer “exploded”, likely due to a possible lightning strike that may have occured.
The outage commenced shortly after 9:00 pm. It appears that power was restored within a couple to several hours…
No injuries or damages have been reported. However, some folks did have to survive without A/C for several hours!
