The Wood County Solid Waste Management District, in partnership with the Bowling Green State University Master’s of Public Administration program, is interested in finding out more about recycling in rural Wood County. Many rural residents will soon be receiving a survey in the mail about recycling in their community.
Residents are encouraged to return the survey as soon as possible.
Survey results will show how rural residents use the existing recycling services available to them. These services include mobile stations available once per month. Additionally, the survey will help the Solid Waste Management District to plan future programs designed to make recycling easier throughout the county.
Residents should look for the survey in the coming week.
Any questions should be directed to Dr. Shannon Orr at (419) 372-7593 or by email at [email protected]; questions can also be directed to the Solid Waste Management District at (419) 354-9297.
