In a one-minute online survey, The Wood County Park District is seeking public input that will shape the future of the parks. Wood County residents are asked about their park and program experience, if any. Answers to the survey are completely anonymous. The responses will guide the Strategic Plan and goals for the natural resources conservation agency.
The Wood County Park District has twenty parks and nature preserves around the county, environmental stewardship, educational programs and outdoor recreation. Not all parks in Wood County are Wood County Park District parks. For more information on the spaces and services provided by the parks and to take the survey, visit www.wcparks.org. The survey will close on November 5th, 2017 so please take one minute to share your opinion.
The community survey and the volunteer survey were created by a graduate class at BGSU led by Dr. Shannon Orr. In their Environmental Management class within the Masters of Public Administration program, these future community builders are benefiting the community with hands-on impactful projects. These students include: Amy Puffenberger, Hannah Stanbery, and Marissa Lumbrezer. Their great efforts and all community responses are very much appreciated by the Wood County Park District Board of Commissioners, staff, volunteers and Friends of the Parks.
