Rachael E. Stimmel, 28, NB

Rachael E. Stimmel, 28, of North Baltimore, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at her residence.

She was born on May 8, 1986, in Washington D.C. to Jean Spence and Brian Mauk. She married Dan C. Stimmel on February 6, 2010, and he survives.

Rachael is also survived by her mother, Jean Spence of North Baltimore; her father, Brian Mauk of Toledo; her maternal grandparents, Jay and Joyce Spence of North Baltimore; her paternal grandparents, Bruce and Gwen Mauk of North Baltimore; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan L. and Brenda Stimmel of North Baltimore; her husband Dan’s grandparents, Duane and Rhea Young of Findlay; and her beloved feline companions: Harry and Luna.

Rachael was a 2004, graduate of North Baltimore High School, where she played volleyball and was in the band. During high school she participated in the Ohio State Fair Band. She loved volleyball, music, her cats, but her greatest love was life itself.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at SMTIH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
