Randall “Randy” Freeland of Findlay passed away March 3, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

He was born on July 30, 1952 to Frank and Margaret (Whitecotten) Freeland of North Baltimore. Randy is survived by his sister, Sondra Baumgardner of Findlay, OH; his caregiver, Lisa Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. Randy also leaves behind his beloved furry pets, Callie and Gigi.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Ronnie Freeland and Roger Freeland; and his brother-in-law, Jack Baumgardner. He was also preceded in death by his beloved nephews: Toby and Mikey Baumgardner.

Randy retired from Baumgardner Oil and then worked at Equity Meats of North Baltimore. One of Randy’s favorite pastimes was going to the race tracks with his brother Roger to watch his nephew David, “Probracket“, burn up the tracks. He was a racing fan, especially of John Force.

He also enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Randy enjoyed the time he spent with his buddies and telling stories. He enjoyed his visits with his great-nieces, Rylee and Josie Freeland. He also liked spending time fishing at Lake Erie and Lake Michigan.

The family would like to thank Bridge Home Health & Hospice for their care of Randy.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 11, from 5:00-8:00pm and one hour before the funeral service, which will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 12.

Visitation at the funeral service will be at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Reverend Ralph Mineo will officiate and burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
