Register for the Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure®

Save Lives in Northwest Ohio

TOLEDO, OHIO. August 23, 2016 – The Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure® 5K and Family Fun Walk events will be Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 and Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 in Findlay and Toledo respectively.

These Races raise money to fund life-saving breast health services in our 24-county service area and energize the best breast cancer research aimed at finding the cures for breast cancer.

4th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® in Findlay
9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016
Blanchard Valley Hospital Campus

23rd Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® in Toledo
9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016
Corner of Summit Street and Monroe Street in Downtown Toledo

Registration:
Register online using our mobile-friendly, easy-to-use registration at www.komennwohio.org, Also visit the website for information about on-site registration, packet pickup, maps, and more.

$30 Adults (19 and over) (timed and untimed)
$20 Youth (18 and under) (timed and untimed)
$30 Sleep in for the Cure (2016 Race T-shirt and bib included)

Where the money goes:
Seventy-five percent of the money raised by Komen Northwest Ohio stays in our 24 counties to fund breast cancer and breast health services, outreach, and education. The remaining 25 percent goes to support research to improve treatments and find the cures for breast cancer. None supports national operations.

New this year:
The Toledo Race will feature an all-new bedazzled breast cancer Survivor Tent and After Party at Hensville featuring the new band GreenAcre Sessions, as well as Dine out for the Cure at many downtown restaurants following the Race.

The Findlay Race’s hometown feeling is sure to please, with the motorcycle-lined Thunder Alley, gorgeous breast cancer Survivor tent, and a special appearance by Joshua Melton.

Registration Deadline for packet mailing:

Mail-In registration – Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, online registration – Monday, Sept. 12.

 

Last Day to Register Online at $30: 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 for Findlay Race and 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 for Toledo Race. Race Day registration: $45.
