COLUMBUS – State Representative Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) recently attended the groundbreaking of Ohio CAT’s newest building project at their Perrysburg property.
The new building project is located off of Eckel Junction Rd. The 40-acre property will have Ohio CAT, The Cat Rental Store and Northern Ohio Peterbilt all on the same campus.
“I was honored to participate in the ceremonial first dig for the new Ohio CAT facility in Perrysburg, as this is another tremendous economic development win for Wood County. While serving as a Councilman on the Perrysburg City Council, I advocated and supported Ohio CAT’s request to build this new 65,250 square foot facility,” said State Representative Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg).
“Today as the State Representative for Ohio House District 3, I was honored to welcome Ohio CAT and Marous Brothers Construction executives to Wood County and present them an Ohio House of Representatives Commendation signed by Speaker of the House Larry Householder and me to acknowledge today’s ground breaking.”
This larger facility is needed due to business growth and consists of a 65,250 square foot building that will house a shop space, a parts warehouse, and office space for Ohio CAT’s machine sales, rental and administrative personnel. Additionally, the project consists of building an 8,300 square foot Wash Building and a 5,940 square foot Cold Storage structure.
Adjacent to Ohio CAT, Northern Ohio Peterbilt, the company’s on highway truck dealership, will have a 68,000 square foot building with 26 service bays and a 7,400 square foot Cold Storage structure.
