North Baltimore’s Terry Wymer, according to unconfirmed reports, has been selected to officiate the NCAA Basketball Final Game next Monday night.
This would be Terry’s first Championship Game. In his NCAA basketball officiating career he has worked three Big Ten tournament championship games, as well as 10 Mid-American Conference Championship games and 15 Summit League Championship games. He has worked a number of post-season tournament games including the National Invitational Tournament and has officiated 13 of the last 14 NCAA tournaments.
He advanced to the Regional Sweet 16 and Elite Eight on eight occasions, and worked the 2013 Final Four semi-final in Atlanta, Georgia, and the 2014 Final Four semi-final in Dallas, Texas.

Wow! That’s impressive…The cream always rises to the top.
Congratulations Terry!!!
Nice job Terry. You deserve it!
Congrats Terry!!!! You made it!!!!
Wish Terry the very best !!
There’s not a better guy or former athlete more qualified for this honor. Terry has studied the game, maintained relationships with coaches and athletic administrators and during the game, guides the players in such a way that they understand the call. He keeps a lid on player friction and adds to the overall game experience. This is a well deserved assignment.
