The North Baltimore Lady Tigers hosted the Riverdale girls in a Blanchard Valley Conference game, in The Jungle at NBHS, Thursday night.
Riverdale (8 – 6, 4 – 2 BVC) worked out to a 29 to 20 halftime lead, then 53 – 36 after 3 quarters. The Tigers rallied in the 4th, scoring 25, but the visitors held on for the 10 – point win 71 – 61.
NB Stats:
Alivia Light – 32 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals, 10 assists;
Katelyn Weinandy – 14 points, 8 rebounds;
Leah Lee – 6 points;
Simone Thompson – 3 points and 5 rebounds;
Mia McCartney, Haley Watson and Lexi Long each scored 2 points.
NB is 7 – 6 and 2 – 4 in the BVC.
North Baltimore won the Junior Varsity game 26 – 21.
Next the lady’s will be at Arcadia, for BVC play, Thursday, Jan. 18, 6 pm.
