Here is the School Board Report from Russell Bretz, Sr. for July 28, 2015.
MS/HS Paving Completed
The regular meeting of the North Baltimore Local Board of Education was held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the MS/HS complex. After a brief report by Treasurer, Eve Baldwin.
The Superintendent, Ryan Delaney reported that the additional paved parking for events was completed. This will add an additional 93 paved parking spots for events at the MS/HS complex.
The Superintendent also reminded everyone of the starting date for students will be August 18, 2015. Open House at both buildings will be on August 17, 2015 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
It was also noted that an anonymous donation was made to cover fees for grades K – 6. This anonymous donation has been made for the past several years and will save families of students in grades K – 6 $46.
Superintendent’s Recommendations:
Accept the resignation of Elizabeth Trigg, Elementary Teacher, effective at the end of the 2014-15 school year.
Approved a two year administrative contract to Laura Warden, as Pre – 12 Special Services Director, for the 2015-16 and the 2016-17 school years. This is a full-time position, 5days a week, 220 days at $66,000 per year beginning August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2017.
Approved the following supplemental contracts for the 2015-16 school year at the appropriate step.

Michelle Flick – Replacing Kara Cokotte as Powell Science Team Leader
Approved the MS/HS Building Fees with revisions. Available at the school.
Approve the Powell Elementary Fees for the 2015 – 16 school year at $46 per student. Parents will receive a $5 discount for paying prior to the end of the 1st quarter grading period.
Approved participation in the Ohio Schools Council Cooperative Purchasing Program for a fee of $400 for the 2015-16 school year.
Approved a petty cash account at the Huntington Bank for the Athletic Department at the MS/HS Building in the amount of $1,000 as per past practice as requested by the state auditor; (for officials).
Approved an agreement with Panda Technologies for the 2015-16 school year for $1,500 for Website Services.
Approved a delegate and an alternate to the Ohio School Boards Association for the 2015 annual business meeting.

Accepted an anonymous donation valued at approximately $8,000 for all PreK – 6 grade students. All necessary consumable school supplies will be given to PreK – 6 students for the 2015-16 school year.
Addendum:
Approved a one year certified contract to Rachel Smith, as Elementary Teacher for the 2015-16 school year.
No committee reports were given.
The Board adjourned to Executive Session at 6:39 to discuss some personnel issues. No action taken.
The next regular meeting of the North Baltimore Local Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 6:00pm in the MS/HS Complex.
