SEAN WILLIAMS TO HEADLINE NORTH BALTIMORE FESTIVAL
The Good Ole Summertime Festival has been a North Baltimore tradition for over 30 years. This annual festival is always held on the last Saturday of July in downtown North Baltimore.
The day begins at 8 am with a golf tournament at Birch Run Golf Club, which benefits the NB Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and a 5K Run/Walk benefiting the North Baltimore Track Program.
The Powell Elementary School Show Choir will sing the National Anthem at 7:45. Flag raising ceremonies will be done by North Baltimore Cub Scout Troop #372. Susan Kronbach, pastor at Church of the Good Shepherd, United Methodist, will lead us in the opening prayer approximately 7:50 am.
The Red Shoe Society BG and Beyond, is hosting a Charity Car Show benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of NW Ohio. The first 100 registered cars receive a commemorative license plate and a goodie bag. Awards will be given in 21 categories. Raffle tickets will be sold for a set of 4 Cooper Tires. There are Door Prizes, Trophies and Awards too. The car show is sponsored by Continental Structural Plastics (CSP).
The North Baltimore Marching Band kicks off the entertainment at 11 am at the Gazebo on Main St, accompanied by the NBHS Cheerleaders. The band is directed by Mr. Ben Pack. The NBHS Marching Band is sponsored by Smith-Crates Funeral Home.
Afternoon entertainment starts off at 1 pm, with Country Gold Review on stage at the Millstream Area Credit Union parking lot at Main and Broadway Sts. The band is complete with a Pedal Steel Guitar…even a 5-string banjo on a few bluegrass tunes! Solid Country Music for REAL country music fans”, Country Gold has worked with many Nashville artists over the last few years and can deliver the real deal.
Next up will be Loose Cannons at 3:30 pm. Based in Findlay, Ohio, Loose Cannons is NW Ohio’s Party Band. Classic Rock, Silly Tunes & maybe even a guy wearing a kilt. “This is no place for a nervous person!” – L. Mason. Loose Cannons was established in 1998 and although some members have changed, the goal remains the same: To provide the area with great classic rock n roll music and to have a ‘helluva lot of fun”. Loose Cannons is sponsored the NB American Legion, Post #539.

Williams made his mark all across the Northwest Ohio music scene before furthering his career in Nashville. He began his musical journey with classic rock songs, but soon found himself influenced by Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard. He has opened up for national touring artists such as Jon Pardi, Josh Thompson, Canaan Smith, Jason Michael Carroll, Moonshine Bandits, Dallas Moore Band, Natalie Stovall & The Drive, Matt Mason and Clark Manson just to name a few. In the fall of 2015, Williams released his first ever EP entitled, “We Are Country.” The six song collection which he wrote all himself showcases his prolific songwriting catalog. Don’t miss this “up and coming’ Nashville star.
Tongue N Groove will take the stage next at 9:30 pm. The band has been rockin” Ohio since 1998 and is a favorite in the area. TONGUE ‘N GROOVE is N.W. Ohio’s Premier Classic to Now Band, Playing Classic to Now Rock Music. This band will keep the night going till Midnight. Don’t miss this show!
Rides/Midway opens at 10 am
Flea/Retail/Craft Market opens at 9 am
The Beer Garden will open at 1 pm. It is located on E Broadway adjacent to the Corn Hole Tourney and the Music Stage.
The Corn Hole Tournament will start at 2 pm, with cash payouts to the winning teams. Registration is at 1:30. It is being sponsored by the North Baltimore Rotary Club.
Food Vendors will be set up on Main St. Confirmed Vendors are Zacharys Subs, Franks Fries, Cindys Concessions, LeVo Lemon Shake Ups and Assorted fried foods, Lugibihl Ice Cream, Kona Ice, and Murkos Gyros. NB Boy Scout Troop #315 will offer breakfast and also a food booth during the day.
There will also be an eating area inside the NB Fire Hall.
A misting area to cool off will be located near the NB Village Hall.
