September’s Paramedic Spotlight

by EMS Chief Phil Walter

Introducing: Mr. Christopher E. Young, Paramedic

I am proud to introduce Chris Young as North Baltimore EMS’s first Spotlight EMT/Paramedic. Chris has been with the North Baltimore EMS since January 2016. Chris has 13 years of experience in the field and is a highly qualified Paramedic who has received the Hancock County EMS provider of the year award. Chris was the Assistant Chief for the Special Operations Ground Unit for Medcorp for many years, during which time he was deployed to hurricanes: Ike, Gustav and Sandy with Medcorp Disaster Team working with FEMA. Chris also covered the Presidential Inauguration in 2008.

Introducing: Mr. Christopher E. Young, Paramedic

Chris proudly served in the armed forces in the US Navy from 1982 to 1988, and is married, with 6 children and 3 grandchildren. When Chris is not on an ambulance you will find him working on his farm raising cattle and or riding his motorcycle. Although Chris does not live in North Baltimore he has made many friends here in his short time working for the Village, and even became a member of the American Legion Post.

Chris, Thank you for your commitment and service to the North Baltimore EMS and the citizens we serve. Your efforts do not go unrecognized.

Note#

The North Baltimore EMS Spotlight has been created to introduce the members of the North Baltimore EMS, to the citizens of North Baltimore and Henry Twp. My goal is for all the citizens to recognize all the members of the EMS. In my experience it is always good to see a familiar face in those times when the EMS is needed.
