The Wood County Sheriff’s Department has issued the following statement: “There has been an increase number of daytime burglaries in the southern half of the county.”

“If you had any suspicious persons visit your residence in the last month please contact our office.”

In North Baltimore. Police Chief Allan Baer says, “Wood County Detectives advised that there has been a significant increase in Burglaries in Southern Wood County but NOT in North Baltimore. We are working with Wood County Detectives in helping them in regards to the investigation. Their possible suspects may be NB Residents. However, NB is NOT currently having ANY reported Burglaries.”
