Soil Sampling Webinar Available

Announcing PARM’s June 28th Webinar:

“Soil Sampling for Effective Use of Phosphorus, Potassium, and Lime with Precision Agriculture Technologies”

Available LIVE on Thursday, June 28th at 10:00-11:15 CT (11:00-12:15 ET)

The webinar will review use of soil sampling approaches such as grid and zone sampling with emphasis on phosphorus, potassium and lime requirements and their use for variable rate nutrient application. Use of variable rate application technology combined with appropriate soil sampling can increase nutrient use efficiency, profits from nutrient application, and at the same time reduce the risk of nutrient loss to water resources.

You will receive 1.5 CCA CEU’s for watching this FREE webinar! (1 for crop management and 0.5 for soil & water management, pending approval)

You will hear from Dr. Antonio Mallarino, professor of agronomy and nutrient management Extension specialist at Iowa State University. His research and extension programs emphasize phosphorus, potassium, lime, and micronutrients management. His work focuses on soil and plant tissue sampling and testing, placement methods, use of precision agriculture technologies, and fertilizer or manure phosphorus management impacts on water quality. He is a fellow of the American Society of Agronomy and the Soil Science Society of America, and was a contributing member of teams that developed the Iowa Phosphorus Index and the Iowa Nutrient Export Reduction Strategy.

At the end of Antonio’s presentation, you will be able to ask your questions during our LIVE Q&A!
