The Shelly Company began work in Henry Township at the corner of Rudolph Rd and Oil Center Rd.
The intersection is “closed”. However, according to Henry Twp. Chairman John Stewart, “due to this being the middle of the fall harvest, traffic will be maintained for farmers, buses and emergency vehicles.”
For the time being, other vehicles and personal vehicles WILL BE allowed to pass through the intersection, SLOWLY, proceeding with CAUTION, as the work of widening will continue, with intermittent closures.
The project is adding to the roadway 200 feet to the south and 240 feet to the north. The project has been delayed for about 6 weeks, according to Stewart.
