Special Olympic Torch Run Passes Through North Baltimore

Bob Kelley Chevrolet Buick has been part of the Special Olympics Torch Run for over 20 years. Each year the runners and their Law Enforcement escorts stop by the dealership on South Main Street.
It was a pleasure to again provide a cold drink, a warm welcome and a financial contribution to such a worthy cause

Officers and others join John Kelley in front of the dealership to pass the torch, and enjoy a refreshing drink
Law Enforcement officers carry the “Flame of Hope” through 150 communities in Ohio, raising awareness and funds along the way. Specific Torch Run routes and schedules are available to download. The Torch Run culminated in the Final Leg on Friday, June 24, 2016.  Officers meet at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy and travel a 3.2 mile route to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium  to pass the “Flame of Hope” to Special Olympics athletes during Opening Ceremonies of the 2016 Special Olympics Ohio State Summer Games.  (Sooh.org)
