COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) today announced that State Representative Theresa Gavarone (R-Bowling Green) has been appointed to serve on several House committees.
Rep. Gavarone has been appointed to serve on the Education Committee, the Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committee, and the Health and Aging Committee.
“I am excited to be selected to serve on such important committees in the Ohio House,” Rep. Gavarone said. “Education and health care are special priorities of mine and priorities of the people I serve in Wood County. These committee assignments will allow me to even more effectively represent Wood County at the Statehouse.”
The appointments will be effective Monday, September 26th.
Rep. Gavarone is serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives after being appointed in August. She represents the 3rd Ohio House District, serving residents of Wood County. In addition to her public service, Gavarone is an attorney with Ruck & Wright Law and the co-owner of a family business with her husband of 24 years, Jim. She and Jim reside in Bowling Green with their three children, where they attend St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
