Praise Chapel PCG – Nov. 23

Why did Jesus make such an impact on the earth? He not only talked a good game, but He had the power of The Holy Spirit flowing through Him, confirming what He was saying. Jesus was God in flesh. When He was on the earth He was baptized in water and the Holy Spirit came down upon Him. He was our example. He told His disciples to go into all the world and use His Name to do some awesome things and to make more disciples. He also said that signs would follow those that believe.

Sunday Sermon Title:

Spiritual Gifts Sermon Series-“Confirming God’s Word”

Note from the Pastor:

Why did Jesus make such an impact on the earth? He not only talked a good game, but He had the power of The Holy Spirit flowing through Him, confirming what He was saying. Jesus was God in flesh. When He was on the earth He was baptized in water and the Holy Spirit came down upon Him. He was our example. He told His disciples to go into all the world and use His Name to do some awesome things and to make more disciples. He also said that signs would follow those that believe.

In Mark 16:20 KJV, Jesus told the disciples that He would work with them and confirm the Word with signs following. In the 17th and 18th verses, He explained what those signs were! So, if Jesus and His first disciples needed signs to confirm what they were saying, I think we do too.  We have been seeing signs at our church. Jesus is at work and we are learning how to flow in these gifts more and more. So I invite you to come and learn with us and be a disciple of Jesus Christ!

Choose to believe the Word of God and not the traditions of man. Let His power flow through you, your family, and your community! God is no respecter of persons, He will use anyone that chooses to believe! There is power in the name of Jesus!

God Bless,

Pastor Jon
