NB Halloween Parade Date & Theme Announced

The North Baltimore Chamber of Commerce has announced the Date and Theme for the 2015 NB Annual Halloween Parade. Theme for this year is “Ghosts, Goblins, and Ghouls”.

The North Baltimore Chamber of Commerce has announced the Date and Theme for the 2015 NB Annual Halloween Parade. The parade will be on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Theme for this year is “Ghosts, Goblins, and Ghouls”.
The parade will step off at 7 pm at the Main St and Cherry St intersection. It will head south through downtown NB.
The NBACC and the Halloween Committee would like to take this opportunity to invite all individuals, groups, and businesses to participate in this year’s parade, whether walking, riding in a vehicle or making a float.

The North Baltimore Annual Halloween Parade, sponsored by the NB Area Chamber of Commerce had a nice night and a big crowd downtown to enjoy a small town icon. Here are the results and some more photos.

The Float Awards were:

Small Float:

1st  – NB Public Library; 2nd – NB Garden Club; 3rd – the Engard Family

Medium Float:

1st – Memory of Dan Sturges; 2nd- NB Girl Scouts; 3rd – Kountry Cupboard and Ice Cream Shoppe

Large Float: 

1st – St. Luke’s Lutheran Church; 2nd – Holy Family Catholic Church

The Costume Contest Awards were:

Scariest/Spookiest:

1st – Trace Trumbull; 2nd – Gaige Dewitt; 3rd – Aydin Allen

Most Creative:

1st – Tristen Mcgrew; 2nd – Alexzander Marine Grant; 3rd – Jaxson Gevedon

Best Use of Theme:

1st – North Baltimore Girl Scouts; 2nd Sidney and Henry Engard

In addition, Jan Rush was the winner of the Save the Virginia Theater 50/50 Raffle.
