The North Baltimore High School Lady Tiger Varsity Basketball team will open the 2014 – 15 season this evening in The Jungle. Fans are encouraged to dress for a “BLACK OUT”.

The Lady Tigers will be going a new direction, as long time coach Greg Frost stepped down following last season, Adam Burris, will be leading the gals in their first season of hoops in the Blanchard Valley Conference.

Good Luck to the Lady Tigers!

Come out and enjoy basketball and the NBHS Tiger Pep Band as the ladies open the season with Otsego, Junior Varsity tip-off at 6:00 PM.

From new Head Coach Adam Burris:

“Our summer and preseason practices have been going good and we have been improving each day. We as coaches always stress that we have to keep taking steps forward and cant afford to take steps back.”

“We open up tonight with Otsego and they are a strong aggressive team, so we need to come out giving the first punch, and set the tone.”

“We have quite a bit of experience back from last year, and our numbers are good, so right now we are trying to find out everyone’s role on the team.”

“I am from Bluffton and played basketball beginning in the 4th grade, having continued my basketball career at Bluffton University. After graduation I coached youth teams, then as an 8th grade coach, then I became a Varsity Assistant Coach at Pandora Gilboa.”

“I am very excited to be coaching at NB and really want to make NB well known and compete in the top of the BVC.”
