Coach Burris said: “We started out strong, then McComb made a defensive switch and made it a 5-point game at half time. I told the girls that the first 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter will be crucial, and we came out and had a 13 point quarter, compared to their 6 point quarter.
“We still have some things to work on, but the coaching staff likes the progress we are making as a team. It feels good to win a couple in a row, and hopefully we can keep it up against Old Fort on Saturday, who will be very tough!”
The Tigers improve to 4-3, 2-2 BVC.
McComb (0-8, 0-4) was led by Hailey Buck who hit three 3-pointers, leading the visitors with 11 points.

Editors Note (by Sue M) : Good Sportsmanship moment : As the teams left the floor after the game, Lacey Trumbull went out of her way to apologize to a McComb player whom she had collided with earlier, and to check on her condition, to which the McComb gal responded, “Don’t worry about it, I’m fine” Way to Go, Lacey!
