Notes From Pastor Jon at Praise Chapel – Dec. 10

It is human nature for us not to be able to accept good things. We are suspicious about good things coming to us.

Sunday Sermon

“Accepting Grace”

Note from the Pastor:

I believe it is hard for people to believe in and accept grace. It is even harder for people to extend grace to someone that has wronged them. For us to be able to give grace, we first need to accept the fact that we need grace. God has given grace to all people. We need to believe that we need grace and we need to accept it to the point that it transforms our life!

It is human nature for us not to be able to accept good things. We are suspicious about good things coming to us. God wants us to receive His grace and the only thing He wants in return, is for us to give up everything that He never intended us to be when He created us!

Please join us this Sunday and accept His Amazing Grace!

God Bless,

Pastor Jon

Praise Chapel News – January 11

As the new year begins we should begin by focusing on God. We are going to start this New Year with Holy communion this Sunday.

Sunday Sermon Title:

“Remembering God”

Note from the Pastor:

As the new year begins we should begin by focusing on God. We are going to start this New Year with Holy communion this Sunday.

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (1 Corinthians 11:24-25 KJV)

We invite you to come this Sunday and remember what the Lord Jesus has done for all of us!

How is Your Attitude?

Pastor Jon Rhinehart at Praise Chapel on West Broadway in North Baltimore invites you to come and join us this week and learn from God’s Word how to have the attitude of Jesus Christ! Happy New Year to all!

Pastor Jon Rhinehart at Praise Chapel on West Broadway in North Baltimore invites you to come and join us this week and learn from God’s Word how to have the attitude of Jesus Christ! Happy New Year to all!

Sunday Sermon Title:

“How is Your Attitude?”

Note from the Pastor:

How is your attitude? Our attitude can change in a moment. What attitude we have is based on our thinking. Situations change and so does our attitude. The goal of every Christian should be to be like Christ. Can you imagine what our world would be like if we all had the mind and attitude of Christ? It would be Heaven on earth! This doesn’t happen because we get in the way. We need to get out of the way and let Christ shine through us! I like what Paul wrote to the Philippians about a “Christ” centered life:

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. (Philippians 2:3-5 NLT)

Come and join us this week and learn from God’s Word how to have the attitude of Jesus Christ! Happy New Year to all!

Praise Chapel PCG – Nov. 23

Why did Jesus make such an impact on the earth? He not only talked a good game, but He had the power of The Holy Spirit flowing through Him, confirming what He was saying. Jesus was God in flesh. When He was on the earth He was baptized in water and the Holy Spirit came down upon Him. He was our example. He told His disciples to go into all the world and use His Name to do some awesome things and to make more disciples. He also said that signs would follow those that believe.

Sunday Sermon Title:

Spiritual Gifts Sermon Series-“Confirming God’s Word”

Note from the Pastor:

Why did Jesus make such an impact on the earth? He not only talked a good game, but He had the power of The Holy Spirit flowing through Him, confirming what He was saying. Jesus was God in flesh. When He was on the earth He was baptized in water and the Holy Spirit came down upon Him. He was our example. He told His disciples to go into all the world and use His Name to do some awesome things and to make more disciples. He also said that signs would follow those that believe.

In Mark 16:20 KJV, Jesus told the disciples that He would work with them and confirm the Word with signs following. In the 17th and 18th verses, He explained what those signs were! So, if Jesus and His first disciples needed signs to confirm what they were saying, I think we do too.  We have been seeing signs at our church. Jesus is at work and we are learning how to flow in these gifts more and more. So I invite you to come and learn with us and be a disciple of Jesus Christ!

Choose to believe the Word of God and not the traditions of man. Let His power flow through you, your family, and your community! God is no respecter of persons, He will use anyone that chooses to believe! There is power in the name of Jesus!

God Bless,

Pastor Jon
