Chief Allan Baer of North Baltimore Police reports that there was a temporary lock down this morning (Friday, March 18, 8:15 am) at North Baltimore’s Continental Structural Plastics plant on South Poe Rd. Chief Baer said CSP is no longer in lock down, following an investigation into a possible gunman, at the plant.
There was a report of a man, walking around the CSP parking lot, who appeared to have a gun. The plant was placed on lock down for about 10 minutes.
Following a search, in which no one was located, surveillance videos of the property were examined, which did show a man roaming the parking lot, with a handgun. This man then got into his car and left.
North Baltimore schools were not impacted.
