(Bowling Green, Ohio) – Summer is in full swing and many enjoy the beloved club and ball sport of golf. With over 15,000 golf courses in the United States alone those who are fond of the game are sure to find entertainment wherever they may be located.
If just a beginner or practiced at the sport come out and join The Wood County Humane Society (The WCHS) on Saturday, July 22nd for a golf scramble. The event will be held at Tanglewood Golf Course, 9802 Dowling Road, Perrysburg, Ohio. The scramble will begin at 8:00am. It is $60.00 per person or $240.00 for a team, consisting of four people. You can create your own team or The WCHS will assist in placing a team together for you. Golf carts and lunch will be provided. Prizes will be available as well.
The WCHS, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is a private, non-profit managed admission shelter providing care for homeless and abused pets and investigating cruelty complaints in Wood County. The organization receives no funding from government organizations, The United Way, or national humane organizations, instead relying on earned revenue and the generosity of individual donors and businesses to fund our programs such as Safe Haven and food assistance programs, spay/neuter transport, and educational presentations. The WCHS provides care for hundreds of animals each year—from dogs and cats, to horses, goats, and pocket pets.
