In the first game of a double-header with Old Fort at Doc Robert’s Field, North Baltimore High School Baseball rallied for 6 runs, in the bottom of seventh inning, to tie the game with a 10-10 score.
Going on to win the game in the bottom of the 8th inning, 11-10, in non-league action.
Sean Watson drove in 3 runs with a triple to lead NB batters. Brody Naugle had 2 singles, Brice Lennard had 2 singles and 2 RBI,
Harris had 3 singles for Old Fort, Wagner 2 singles and Webb a double and a single.
In the night cap NB won 2-1, again needing 8 innings. Andrew Hollinger pitched all 8 innings for the Tigers, allowing 6 hits, striking out 10. He also knocked in the game winning run with a line shot in the bottom of the 8th inning for another exciting victory for the boys and fans!
NB is now 11 – 2, 5 – 0 in the BVC.
