The North Baltimore (1-2, 0-1 BVC) Boys Basketball team hosted BVC foe Liberty-Benton, (1-1, 1-0 BVC)  in a battle, where a valiant comeback by the Tigers fell just short.

The Tigers were down 22 – 10 after the first quarter to the hot shooting Eagles. NB held their ground in the 2nd, down 42 – 28 at the half, continuing to play hard, but they could not cut into the lead in the 3rd quarter, falling further 61 – 45.

In a game that could have been chalked up in the books as loss, was not, as the Tigers lit it up, scoring 28 points in the 4th quarter, to make it a game with an exciting finish. But NB fell short 73 – 76.

L-B hit 29 of 44 from the field (66%), were 9 of 17 from 3-point range and drained all 9 of their free throws!
